I think I'm going to be quite pleased with this unit, though I've only been using it a couple of days so far. My main criterion for choosing this was it's dimensions (overall size and location of connections) and, of course, price. Though it has slightly less BTU output that the 10+ year old unit it's replacing, it has given me all the hot H2O that I need. AND, sort of a bonus for me was the auto-temp control, which regulates water and fuel flow to maintain the temperature you set it to. (My old one was manual where you had to estimate the two flows, and adjust seasonally sometimes) And, I think the flow sensor is more sensitive on this than my old one, though admittedly that one had grown insensitive over the years. I'll never go back to a tank, those are one step up from using a vat in the fireplace!

My first one did not work more than two weeks. Tried to contact the manufacturer and they only respond in the middle of the night after a week of getting nowhere I bought another and swapped out. This one worked for about 5 months before it stopped working automatically. In order for me to get hot water I have to manually turn it on every time. It's a piece of junk and the seller is not helpful in replying.

I've only been using this for a couple of days, but I'm very impressed. This was an upgrade from my previous tankless, which I had to tinker with multiple time per year because it lacked a temperature setpoint. A 2.5" diameter exhaust pipe worked well for a 1 foot extension.

This is a small unit, so heating capacity is limited. I cannot recommend the Forimo brand. There is no warranty, and communicating with Forimo is difficult because you are communicating with a person in China with the normal broken English. My first unit failed after just a few months. I replaced it with an identical unit so that I would not have to change any plumbing. So far, it is still going, but there was a scare recently when the flow sensor briefly quit responding, which kept it from coming on.
