We originally bought the black water heater and it was absolutely wonderful! We live off grid and desperately needed this especially during the winter with having an outdoor shower and to do dishes. Then we started running into some issues, i emailed the company to try and figure out what was wrong. After some of their assistance we figured out a solution and it worked! Unfortunately to no fault of their own the heater had it's issues after but the company got back to me and fully replaced the heater for us! They were always quick to respond, very kind and attentive, and in the end the issue was fixed! We will have the new one installed asap, but I know its going to be great! I was honestly surprised by water pressure on this heater and the instant (very) hot water it produces. Too bad it doesn't have a switch off, for easy access to cold water only. Also, it's kind of really hot, temperature doesn't get much below 95F. It could use some better temp control. The handle it comes with has really tiny holes, and it got stuck with lime in around 3 days (very hard water), so it needed to be replaced. But for it's purpose, which is on demand hot water, it works really good. ... show more

DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY! This unit arrive on time and in perfect working condition and so far no problems after using for a week my only gripe is it uses D cell batteries to run and the flow adjustment and flame adjustment were kinda confusing at first but easily worked out after playing with it. This thing heats fast and the water temp has been wife approved when left on the winter setting on a 55F day when I used on a 30F day it got warm but was more like for washing hands than a shower but it could be done. Keep in mind the waters coming from 120ft deep well so its coming in around 40-45 (if not colder) when first started up only needing about 60-80 seconds to get up to a solid 122f and maintaining temp for the whole time the only modifications I made for mine were hose quick connect fittings and I built a adapter to run off my ryobi batteries just for more convenience in disassembly and not needing to buy d batteries All and all I'm giving 4 stars for the unit as a whole and 3 stars for temp control just because the non reusable batteries and the winter setting not really keeping a comfortable temp in winter like temperatures but I still highly recommend this unit *(Note the hose i used was a normal 25 ft hose for water intake and long handle garden sprayer for the head on quick connects and a 90 degree adapter)* ... show more

I love this little thing! I use it for my camper I live in full time. We built a little shelter for it on the back of the camper & have it piped in. Haven't actually taken it camping yet, but for a full time water heater for tiny living, it's really great!
