I cant believe how hot it gets! Especially at this price point! Pressure is amazing! The instruction book was a little small for my old eyes, so I had the inlet and outlet water connections reversed. They could label them better. Also, controls are a little counterintuitive - the heat knob has a picture of blue on the left and red on the right, turn the knob to red on the right and it gets colder. I thought it was dumb at first, but so shocked by the performance of this that I still go with 5 stars.

I bathe my 4 large dogs very often and in the wintertime it's very difficult due to the cold weather. But since purchasing this water heater, (and dog bathtub that I have purchased), I am able to bathe all my babies in my garage anytime I want.

This is a great water heater. The digital readout makes it easier to set the temp. However, be sure to blow it out with air even after pulling the drain plug for winter. My last one froze and broke because there was still enough water in it to freeze after pulling the drain plug.

This thing is an absolute beast for my application!!! I'm using it in a bit of an unorthodox way because I'm heating my outdoor water supply that is connected to my well in the barn. Instead of the shower nozzle I have it plumbed to my sink. With the propane bottle on as soon as I turn the hot water know just like any sink it automatically ignites the pilot light and with 6 -8 seconds I have 113 degree water as much as I can use! I will say this, that you should no the know settings because I experimented and it got up to 180 F but has an emergency heat shut off...when you find the settings you want just leave it there I was astonished by the capability for the price, just need to see about longevity

The media could not be loaded. Defective out of the box and apparently un returnable..would heat water up to 97 degrees then immediately the flame would kick off and drop water to 68. Then it would be a constant attempt to reignite the flame. Go up to 97. then drop. Everything is connected properly I tried several propane tanks all full… when I went to try to exchange I was told there are no exchanges or returns for this (even though when I purchase it says returns for 30 days). All these outdoor water heaters are garbage. Just spend the extra money and get a real name brand one Update… the company said they would refund me, but blamed my water pressure causing the issue… funny thing is we have an RV so I have a pressure control valve on this line which I can adjust for proper psi… so I know it’s not my water pressure

*****THIS IS A MUST FOR THOSE WHO LIVE IN HOMES THAT USE PROPANE FROM TANKS THAT NEED TO BE REFILLED. I can't tell you how many times I let reading the dusty, dirty guage slip and whoops we were without hot water for the weekend.****I didn’t read the instructions for this well enough to catch the fact that I needed to have 4 D Batteries on hand for it to operate, so in the middle of the night at 3:30 am when I was done with my remodeling project, covered in filth and desperate for a shower...I found myself driving to the gas station looking like a dirty, gross vibrator fiend to buy 4 D Batteries-- but….once I got them and installed them...perfect amazing hot water. You also need a cutoff switch for your hose (less than $2 at hardware store, literally just a knob that turns water on and off before the hose goes into this propane heater installed with a simple screwing in and some plumbers take...no tools necessary), a literal and a hook or two to hang it on. I Live in a 200 year old house with propane, on my 6th hot water heater in 8 years…so I’m used to cold showers. No more. This thing is BELOVED. **Update. I seriously don't know why these aren't more commonly used in all kinds of things. Mine has lasted and lasted. I know exactly how long the propane tanks last, I keep an extra stock on hand--so we are never without hot water, i screw one in and don't touch the thing for months. I even bought a spare one of these to have around just in case--haven't even opened it. In the beginning I did some temporary plumbing to get this into my bathroom but after a while I was like eff it and I just plumbed it in. And it works. Well. Screw the propane guy I have to beg to come fill up the huge tank or go without because he can't fit me into his schedule. Screw AO Smith and their propane water heater monopoly that would make anyone crazy. Screw plumbers that on purpose stick it to single moms needing help. Mostly screw the fear and shame that come along with depending on a ($1600 a pop)propane hot water heater that maybe last two years, propane guys, plumbers and letting your kids down because you can't even provide them with a hot shower. I don't need any of that anymore.

This is great! Only down side is the shower head is plastic and the knob to turn the water on is plastic and after a few weeks it broke off& couldn’t be put back on so now I’ve gotta figure out a new shower head option. Over all great investment!
