I did not want to install a conventional water heater as it would run while not in use to keep the water hot. Waste of energy and expensive. This jewel was the answer as I put a shower, bathroom sink, and kitchen sink in the country estate barn. This was simple and easy to install and puts out enough hot water to shower with comfortably. You can adjust the temp to the desired output and it will provide the water you need.We had a "barn" service that I knew to be inadequate for my power needs and had the power company install a larger transformer to upgrade to a 'shop" service. All works great.

Honestly don’t understand how anyone could even use this thing! Bought it to use for 1 sink and 1 sink only no showers or anything like that and if you want hot water you need to have the faucet on only about 1/8 turn for it to be hot! If you open the faucet all the way it’s luke warm at best. Certainly it would not work for a shower! Unit was easy to install and seemed to be built ok but does not work for what it is intended for! They need to start over with this thing

This tankless water heater works very well in a small home like mine. The water is hot when it’s supposed to be hot. We haven’t experienced any problems or hang ups. You can’t go wrong if you need hot water quick fast & in a hurry. My husband even installed ours himself. And he’s not an electrician or a plumber. He stated it was fairly easy.

This is the third tankless electric water heater I purchased and the only one worth keeping. The build quality is above average for the price. It maintains a constant output temperature which is something another brand I tried couldn’t do accurately. Installation was easy. The 11kw model it seems to be more than adequate for a single shower with a sink or washer turning on occasionally at the same time. It rarely pulls over 8kw with my output water temp which is set to 110F. I’m sure it will probably use more electricity in the winter but the tap water temp doesn’t seem to change too much in SoCal so we should be fine. I would definitely recommend this heater unless you want to spend a lot more on a name brand. If anything goes wrong I will update.

Replaced our smallish tanked water heater with this. If you are not a good DIY person then hire a pro. If you are well versed in plumbing and electric it can be installed DIY if you follow all safety procedures. We have a very small house but always had a problem with running out of hot water or getting a blast of very hot water when someone turned on a tap. After I installed this water heater, those problems are gone. We set the temp control to a temp convenient for us and now we have nice long showers without depriving the following person of hot water. The flow is excellent whether another tap is being used or not. Still do not expect instant hot water unless it is installed very close to the point of use. It still takes some time to get from the heater to the faucet - no big surprise there, but it is something to remember. This is a great convenient system.

Just installed today. It replaced a thermoflo 18kw that caught fire a few days after a little over a year of use That one was an 18kw and this one is an 11kw and far out performs the 18. There's no fluctuations in temp and heats up faster. We have a small farm house on well water but this little guy doesn't care about pressure loss nor the cold water. It just does it's job. All that's required of it is one shower and a bathroom sink so I hope it last for many years. If any faults it's the manufactures recommendation on using 12awg wire with the 2 30 amp breakers. We have no codes where we live but it's not recommended to use 12awg wire and 10awg wire is. Many inspectors would fail the installation if 12awg was used. Personally I went with the 10awg, especially after having my other tankless heater catching fire. It was a fault in the heating element but it's always better to over do than under do when it comes to electricity. I highly recommend this little unit.

We ordered this instant hot water heater for our studio cab. Once we got it install installed and tried to operate it. It would not work after research and reviewing the instruction manual in the back of the manual it stated you must have a minimum of 5 gallons per minute for the heater to work. The instructions were vague. Do not buy this unless you have water pressure that’s extremely high. It took so long to get it installed. It was too late to return the item just extremely disappointed.
