It’s really not made for US current. On a standard 15 amp circuit it’s pulling 2350 watts. It is providing a satisfactory light warm shower in a warm climate. There are too many ways for a not too knowledgeable person to get into trouble here. I like mine, but it’s hard to really recommend it. It does the job. I put this in my snowcone Concession stand. It doesn't get scolding hot , but it gets warm enough to wash your hands And the dishes. It does take a second to warm up. It will not work just spins a blue circle and won’t heat at all. And returning and waiting 30 days for a return is crazy. So disappointed. They shouldn’t be allowed to sell this at all anywhere

I would spend the extra money and buy a name brand unit! It does heat the water, just not consistent enough and not very hot. but I don't think anyone will have a big enough dedicated circuit to run this without tripping a breaker? I just went with a propane unit for my rustic off grid shower and it's been the best! No generator no hot then Ice cold showers, and no tripped breakers! Just my 3 cents! 🤔🤣 ... show more

The unit was listed as 3,000 watts but at 110V AC that would draw around 27amps. Such power requires dedicated and fused 30 supply line. Completely inappropriate for the regular 15 amp plug it was provided with. Additionally it had the wrong threaded pipes for US market - we need NPT threaded connections, so even if I wired it properly (not as provided) I still could not connect it to my plumbing lines. ... show more
