These are pretty cool setups I was purchasing this one to replace another one come to find out it wasn't the heater that was bad it was a restriction in my waterline to the heater now that I fixed that it works very well it keeps pretty good track of a consistent temperature it does fluctuate a little bit probably 3 or four degrees of variation you can feel it but it's not extreme it works off of a couple of D cell batteries so there's no wiring and the settings are fairly easy to set comes with pretty much zero instructions but it is very easy and labeled well for all I would say this is a pretty damn cool setup mine is installed on my 2010 camper and works very well but my camper also is stationary I'm not sure exactly how you would go about putting it into a regular camper for travel because of the way that the chimney works and the fact that it needs to be mounted vertical but overall it's awesome we have two teenage girls that have to take 45 minute hot showers every morning so it works very well for that also thought since I have an extra one of these of setting it up to fill my hot tub with hot water because at home I have a standard hot water heater and it runs out after 50 gallons and I need 300 plus I haven't set it up to do that yet but I think that's going to be what I'm doing with the old one that didn't have anything wrong with it that I replaced the old one was three years old and worked well just the water flow would cause it to turn off and on and off and on because I had inadequate flow

I do not like giving poor reviews but I am unfortunately forced to with this product and their customer service. I reached out after 3 months of the water heater not working properly stating that It won't keep a consistent temperature. It fluctuates even when the dials are not moved. It will go cold and then very hot without any adjustment. We have been very frustrated with it and are very dissatisfied. They replied that it was our water pressure and that, pretty much, since we have good water pressure it will not work right, sorry. They never offered any advice or help, they just threw the blame that it wasn't theirs it was ours. We use this as an outdoor shower and do not like being outside and the water goes freezing on us. After 7 months of frustration, freezing water to hot all of a sudden, back to freezing, we gave up and purchased a smaller one (16L) and it works perfectly, no issues! We found out that the dials are backwards on the first one, along with other issues. We are unfortunately out of the $150.00 we spent on it.

The media could not be loaded. I am very happy with this unit. After wrapping all of the inlets with Teflon tape, I realized that in order to connect your garden hose, you will need to get a male/male adapter down to 1/2”. This was in stock at my small town hardware store. I hand tightened all of the connections and then gave it a slight tightening with a wrench. When you insert the batteries, angle the batteries past the tabs. It’s a poor design, but with a little patience they slide into the compartment past the tabs no problem. Just don’t force it because you will break those annoying plastic tabs. The case and finish on the unit is great. It’s very thick and solid and feels high quality. After I connected everything with the gas and water in, it fired right up !! The pressure is as high as anything I’ve ever had in a house and maybe better. The pressure is great. It was starting to storm just as I got everything connected and so I forgot to check the water temp at the highest flow rate and set in “winter” setting, but it was hot to the touch and probably way too hot for a shower. To cool it down a little, you just turn it more towards the “summer” side. The shower head isn’t the highest quality, but it works great nonetheless. For the price, I’d never complain. A high pressure shower head would be easy to replace if you want to upgrade, but the stock unit is fine. Overall, I give this unit a 5/5 star rating. I don’t know what more you could ask for. It’s great !!

I mount this outside my travel trailer to replace broken expensive 6gallon water heater. It works well most of the time. Sometimes it doesn't ignite or turns off during operation. Temperature control must be set at unit, if cold water is added at shower it turns unit off and water gets cold. With that said, the temperature controls are really touchy and you can't get 70-80 degree water on a warm day it is like 90+ or a cold shower. Works great in colder weather. Overall I am happy with this unit, it makes hot water and uses little propane. For $110.00 it is a great appliance,would buy again. I have been using this for about 10 months now and it still works like the day I bought it. Hopefully it makes it through the winter. These units usually break from water freezing inside drained or not. So install drain valves and hope for the best.

Like others, mine did come not working..I have never worked on anything propane BTW..After searching some YouTube videos on flame igniting for 1 sec and turning off then clicking, I removed front white cover with 2 small screws on bottom…I checked all electric plugs were secure than at the top of unit there are 3 wires that go into burner..my left wire was too far from igniter…I bent it in until it was roughly half an inch away like the one on right side and it turned on instantly and problem fixed!!!! I am using this with a 5 gpm pump as a Intex pool propane water heater…water temp on city hose water is 50deg…the water temp of heated water is 122 on low and 104 on high…. I am by no way a mechanic and propane does scare me but the regulator on tank makes it all safe…I did not want to return the unit and wait for another so I decided to fix myself like others on here….it’s very easy, hope this helps someone who is frustrated like I was
