Takes a little time to fully heat up. About 45 minutes to fully reheat to max temp. Otherwise, this unit is AWESOME! Gives us a lot of hot water for a small unit. I love it. Cheap for the price. Fit snuggly in the sink. Installation guide was spot on making it super easy to swap out our broken one. All I had to do is hard wire the included cable, plug it in and it starts working. It's only been a couple of weeks at the most, but so far so good. Was not difficult for hubby to install. This is our second purchase. First one was a Bosch that lasted almost four years. We'll see about this one. It was cheaper since it is an off brand.

I bought this small water heater for our shop, when I saw it it was perfect size and the price was great. I bought it in late April 2024, but we weren’t finished with the bathroom, so we stored it in our other garage until ready to install. We took it out the box last week to install, and it was just as I had looked at it when I received it and opened it for any damage. So, hubby hooked it up, and turned it on. No leaks so he left it to fill up and came back awhile later and noticed water on the floor. So he turned it off, dried everything and begin checking for loose connections, all was good. It still was leaking and he saw it was key from thr front panel, he took it off and it’s leaking all inside of it. I will not buy anything like this again until it’s ready to be installed because I cannot return it now. Very disappointed in receiving a brand new water heater that I cannot use or return. Head my warning, don’t buy u til you are ready for it, even if it’s on sale! ... show more

This works well and really heats up the water. A 20 amp breaker controls the dishwasher, interacted and water heater with no problem. I used a brass compression “T” fitting to combine the hot water flow to the faucet and the dishwasher, a brass cap for the dishwasher shutoff valve, two brass shut off valves for the water tank, a 12” and a 20” compression water supply line. Installation was fairly easy. It was installed in my RV about a a week ago and so far is working well. Good for a quick shower, takes a few minutes to reheat but definiately worth what I paid.
