We were adopted by a cat right before Christmas 2021 and didn't want to get anything that is wrapped in carpet or with a tacky look that would not fit with our other furniture and did not want to compromise, so we dug a little deeper in the pocket to go with this. So glad we did. Our place has a relatively mid-century modern theme so finding something to blend with that was a bit of a challenge. This nailed it. It is sturdy, super easy to set up, and it is just so clean (and easy to clean). The wood feels solid. Not too heavy that the thing feels dangerous or is difficult to move, but we have no fear of warping or drooping like can happen on the carpet wrapped particle board that you see on many typical towers. Really feel like the thing is going to last forever. The pads are thin, but have enough cushion that the cat sits comfortably on them. The fact that you can take them off and throw them in the wash is amazing and keeps the whole thing feeling new. A few of our friends have very slight cat allergies, so being able to wash these before they come over makes our "de-damdering" process that much easier and more thorough. And the look! The wood grain is actually looks really sharp and it is textured enough to prevent her from slipping on it. The rounded edges on the platforms and the way it is structured fit in with our design theme perfectly. It blends in so well that most people don't even realize it is there til she jumps on it on it or when we point it out -- and is sitting next to the couch in our living room! Thin but sturdy hollow pillars are unobtrusive but solid and she scratches at the bottom ones all the time. Nicest cat tower I (and all of our friends who have been over) have ever seen, and glad it is in my home. Only tip I have (and it is not a gripe at all) is to cut the included Velcro strips into smaller pieces (3-4 inches) and position them more strategically around the platforms where the pads are going to be set (particularly around the edges) and pull the pads tight when pressing them down. It'll help the pads from folding up on the outside and make them more firmly attached all around so they don't move when the cat is manuvering on it. Also good to lay them out on the pads before sticking them to the wood so you don't have Velcro sticking out from underneath. If you can afford it and you don't want to compromise on your aesthetic, I do not think you can do better at this price point. Looks good, feels good, easy to clean, easy to maintain, and Vin loves it.

I personally hand-picked every scrap of furniture in my apartment to give it a certain look and feel when you enter. I adopted a cat 2 months ago and was DREADING buying one of those hideous cat trees that was all carpet and looked smelly & raggedy. I almost settled and bought one and then came across this beauty at the last minute - and it’s one of the best things I’ve bought for my cat yet, it fits beautifully into my home decor. Positives: 1) simplistic & beautiful. Clean, streamlined design 2) sturdy. The wood is just the right amount of thickness, feels quality made. The scratching posts are made out of a thick plastic tube, wrapped in cardboard, and then wrapped in rope. - sadly my cat used the scratching post once for 5 seconds and then moved on. Even spraying with catnip spray didn’t do anything. She’s prefers my entrance rug for her scratching needs. 3) 6 feet tall! My cat was scared to climb to the top at first. When I moved it to the corner it seemed to bring her comfort that she won’t fall off the other side. After putting endless treats up top she got used to climbing that high. She spent 80% of today on the top perch supervising my daily activities. Negatives: 1) make sure you have a tape measure when assembling. The directions come in the bag of screws and don’t have written instructions, only pictures and measurements. There were three times that I used the wrong size scratching post because i didn’t measure them before screwing in, and had to go back and fix (for example, the lowest stoop is supposed to have the 20cm post, I had used the 25cm post - which was needed elsewhere, etc) 2) the landing above the box doesn’t come with a rug/padding. A few times my cat tried to jump on it and slipped. So I took the padding that goes inside the box on the 2nd level and velcroed it to that slippery landing. No more slippage. 3) I could have used a few more Velcro strips than what was included. I realized halfway thru that it’s better if I just cut them into the sizes I need so I can space them out how I want. All in all this was a solid buy.

The media could not be loaded. This is the main piece of cat furniture that I bought for our new house so I had quite high standards for its quality and design, since it was going to be living in our entryway. I wanted to make sure it matched our house’s cozy vibe and was something we could show off to guests. I also wanted something that was tall enough with large platforms so my two cats could actually use it to look out the window and sunbathe. Well, this is PERFECT. It is like a little clubhouse for them and they have loved it so far. It has laminated wood that good quality is textured enough to prevent slipping. I love the little machine washable pads that come with it (someone recommended to cut the Velcro tape in half to create more of a perimeter for the pads to grip on to and I definitely second that) and the sisal rope columns are so much better then a carpeted tree. If you watch my video, you can see how sturdy it is and how tall it is in comparison to my 5’9” frame. I think, for the price point, this tree is ABSOLUTELY worth it.
