The media could not be loaded. We were having issues with our dogs escaping the back fence and getting aggressive with anyone that would be in the alley cleaning up. So we purchased this to see if it would help & it honestly has! They no longer are able to escape and it’s thick enough that it’s not as see through, so they don’t bark at anyone that’s on the other side. We were short just under 2 ft to cover the whole backside but that’s a me problem since my gate is 32 ft long lol 🤣 overall it looks really nice and clean. I ordered this product to put on my chain link fence to separate the dogs in my yard from that in the neighbor's yard. It works great; they don't see each other, so do not bark at each other. Item was easy to put up and there were plenty of zip ties provided. You have the option of a specific length, so do measure your area carefully.

So good so far. I have only had it up for three weeks. I got the light tan colored one. It was the size I ordered, 6x40 ft. It looks nice, but I have a feeling it won't last too long. The grommets were all intact and no holes or fraying in the material, when it was delivered. I can't compare it to any other sunshade because it is my first one. I do know the price is less than others, but that may be due to difference in quality. I really don't know though. It does not come with zip ties, so buy some. I bought it for my dog kennel. It does great at blocking the light, I just wish a little more air would flow through, as a breeze is welcomed in the desert heat. I might not feel the same way in the winter, blocking the cold wind will be nice for the dogs. Can't have it both ways. It lasted until May 2, 2021. Not bad for the weather it sees. We have strong winds. We didnt have much percipitation in the last two years, but we did have the heat and intense sun. It ended up tearing at the bottom and then the corners went. It may have lasted longer had we cut lines for wind to go through. Pretty good overall. Ordering again.

Our back property line is almost 225 feet long. We are up against a fairly busy road and had open, ornamental fence across the entire property line. We were considering saving up for arborvitae trees or vinyl fencing, but it was hard to justify $10K plus in a place that already had a fence. We held off on doing the privacy shades because we feared they'd look tacky, but I'm very impressed with how nice they look. We enjoy our back yard so much more now! It's so nice to be able to enjoy your back yard without traffic staring at your every day. For less than $400 we were able to do our entire fence line. Despite the relatively low cost, this is probably one of the best upgrades we've ever done to our house. It completely changed the feel of our property. We did have to buy some longer zip ties to use in a few places where we needed to go around the entire fence post. We took our time and made sure the shades were pulled tight before zipping each grommet down. Pulling the shades tight definitely makes them look nicer and also keeps the wind from getting a hold of them. We have a fairly strong wind that blows against the fence line regularly so we chose to put the shades on the outside of the fence so that the fence supports the shades when the wind blows. Update: the item itself is great, but if you live in a windy area do yourself a favor and buy stainless steel zip ties (or at least much heavier duty plastic ones). The plastic zip ties they include with these are simply not up to the job and we’ve had to replace them all. The problem is that once one breaks and the wind starts to get a hold of the shade it will begin to easily break more and more ties and you’ll be out there in a wind storm trying to tie them down. After that happened one time I bought the stainless ones (which are surprisingly cheap here on Amazon) and haven’t had a single problem since. Do the job once and skip the plastic ones
