I love everything about it, it has physical buttons again, wich works wonderfull, and they are raised more than the original, made out of plastic, the screen I think its a little bit bigger that the Pix and older versions of color screen ones, I love the wifi features with the tamaverse, but the fact that it receives a lot of updates, that speeks a lot about the future and how it will hold, the device itseld its kinda the same size as a original one in terms of thickness, so its not heavy and bulky as the Pix and the On/Meets ones, so that’s a big plus in my opinion, the gameplay is perfect, I love it, its cute, when you set it up in the first place u get to chose from 3 differenr eggs, then everything is how you imagine, I love the menu, quite simple, I love the fact that you can put multiple accesories at once, and the first one u can wear is after it evolves one time, a headpiece, than you can add the other ones like facial, body and things that can hold in hand, when you play games, even if its a child you can get 300 gotchipoint for a perfect score, so that’s new, in the older color screen you get 300 gotchipoints when its adult, and did I mention that you can keep yout caracter for a longer period of time? its nice, yeah you can marry it in tamaverse, or they will ask you to let them go or something like that, yeas there is no mixing between them but every caracter has his own unique personalities so based on that every caracter will like something from food to clothing and even objects in their main room, or they will dislike it, over all I think its the best one out there, for everything mentioned and more, I love the form factor, the gameplay, the looks of it, very modern, I think its my favorite one, altho I really love the connection versions and I wish they will bring back the connection ones! So you will not be dissapointed with this one! and the battery will last about 1.5 weeks, and the charging times is about 2 hours I believe, like your mobile phone, and you can play with it when its charging and to see the status of batery press long button A and it will bring the clock screen there you can see the battery status! I've customized mine a bit, but overall, it's as advertised and came in great condition! Works great, haven't had any issues! Super cute and I love the clothing options for the tamas! Battery life is amazing and I love that I can charge it instead of change the batteries! The battery can last a couple days without charging too! I will say though, that I think the Tamagotchi On and Meets had a bit more content. There were more places to explore, games to play, you could actually build relationships and marry tamas instead of having to use the online function, pets had much bigger emphasis and could evolve/have families, there were a lot more items, and options overall. The On had a much more satisfying gameplay experience in my opinion. While the Uni has wifi, which is really cool, it leaves much to be desired. There's not many online interactions. You can update the game, send hearts to a limited number of tamas a day, buy 4 sets of an online user's clothes (changes daily, but some are ridiculously priced; I had to play the Fast Food mini-game over 100 times to buy 1 outfit), there's an arena, and you can travel to a new location (which, is kind of pointless because you just get a cutscene of your tamagotchi going to the location and you don't interact with it at all. Then, they come straight back home and post about it on social media.) I definitely would recommend this for Tamagotchi collectors or people who don't have access to On/Meets. It's fun for sure and has kept me playing it every day since I've gotten it. I am hoping for an update to add more screen dimming options though. Night mode would be amazing! Fingers-crossed they take that into consideration 🤞

I can’t say enough about this game, I don’t wear the watch band but the game it’s self is so fun I can hardly put it down. I got the hello kitty game card that you purchase on their site price is very reasonable and it’s fun. I wish though that when you change DL worlds you can keep your items from the other world but you can’t you don’t loose them when you change back you just can’t use them when you switch over. I love that you don’t need batteries you just charge it. Great tamagotchi game mine is with a Tama sitter right now. I also wish we could put it to bed early like the tama paradise but this is on a set time 10pm

Just a warning, this will be kind of a long review. I grew up with tamagotchi and have had the original tamagotchi, connection v2, pix, and now the uni. I absolutely love the uni. The blue one is my favorite design of the 3 currently available. I love that the uni is not as bulky as a lot of the color tamas, it feels very similar to the ones from the connections series. The buttons are hard plastic and work very well (Yay no more touch screen buttons!) The clear plastic shell on the back is really cool. The idea of wearing it as a watch is cool, but it's still a bit bulky to wear on the wrist and I already have a smart watch that I wear daily so I just don't wear the uni this way. But of course it's just as easy to put a case on it and clip it on a lanyard. One of the features that I'm SO excited about is the fact that the uni is rechargeable!! I'm so happy that I don't have the change the batteries on this thing. I hated having to change the batteries every week on my tamagotchi pix. The battery on the uni lasts all day, I usually charge it for a little bit each evening just to keep it close to fully charged. The wifi capability on the uni is another cool feature. I like that there are updates and downloads for free items. Also, the tamaverse is pretty neat. They're currently working on expanding it so I'm excited to see what they add. I like to send my tama on tours. The online events are pretty cool too. It helps keep things fresh and give the player more to come back and do. I'm also loving the amount of customization. I found it annoying that on the pix, there were so many things that your tama couldn't wear until they were an adult. With the uni, your tama can wear more of the accessories as soon as they're no longer a baby (couple things like aura items they can't wear until adulthood, but overall more accessories are available earlier). They can also wear like 4 things at once so it gives you the ability to give them a really specific look and make it your own. I also love that an item can be placed in their living room in addition to the furniture so your tama can interact with it when they want. Things I dislike: I'm already seeing a lack of storage space for all the accessories. There's SO many things to get but not nearly enough space to store it all. I also wish there were more games at the arcade, or that they alternated what games were available each day. Having the same 3 games every single day does get old. While the tama walk feature is cool, I find that it often thinks I'm not walking when I actually am. I have to hold it in my hand and shake it or keep checking on it to make sure my tama isn't just wandering randomly.

So fun! So adorable! I never had a tamagotchi of my own as a child and always felt like I was missing out, but now I could finally get one and it’s honestly so cute! I really like the more recent colored LED screens compared to the old black and white 8-bit ones just because I have really poor eyes and the other ones just confused me. The screen is a decent size, it’s bright and colorful, easy to navigate. Love love love!

It has features of several pre-color and color Tamagotchis, plus it's own novel one: the Tamaverse! Raise your UniTama from an egg. Place an item in the living room and after a while it will become their favorite, and over time they'll become a "pro". Your UniTama will also, throughout its life upload posts to its Social page. You can scan the QR code and get these posts right on your own cellphone to share on your own social media pages. I got the Blue Uni, and it's gorgeous. The blue is more of a dusty indigo-blue, with a muted magenta-pink wobble border and a lavender inner frame around the screen. The buttons and the back of the device are transparent purple. The wristband is the same color as the shell and its hardware is also transparent purple. It's the latest Tamagotchi with a host of novel features, like having a rechargeable battery, WiFi connection and the all-new Tamaverse, an internationally connected hub where players from around the world can take part in worldwide arena games, shop, meet a new spouse and explore. The Tamaverse does work without WiFi, but you won't have access to the Arena without it. Choose items to display in your Tama's livingroom and after 3 days, the item is their favorite. New item-interaction animations will unlock over time. The livingroom is highly customizable. You can change the room theme, 2 pieces of furniture and of course the display item. You can equip your Tama with up to 4 different accessories at once, making this the most customizable Tamagotchi. Teens can even wear accessories, unlike on the Tamagotchi Pix/Party. Your UniTama will have favorite foods, snacks, accessories and items which boost their happiness. Need a reason to walk for 20 minutes? Enter pedometer mode and take your tama on a walk with you. There are 3 different walking routes, and for 20 minutes your Tama will collect materials or, if you're lucky, find a DIY item which you can choose the colors for, so you can have a one of a kind piece! There's also a walking game where you use the motion sensor to move your UniTama around and collect materials to make DIY paint colors and more. Collect care icons which track all the different ways you've played and unlocked different aspects of the game, such as how many poops you've cleaned up, where your UniTama has traveled to in the Tamaverse and which adult characters you've raised. Choose a nickname for yourself which you can edit at any time unlike on previous devices, and choose from 2 selections of random words to create an online nickname for your UniTama, which recalls memories of how AOL Kids used to work- this ensures safety online. Send hearts to all the different UniTamas you meet in the Tamaverse and see how many you get. Your UniTama will have their own social media page, similar to the Social feature Tamagotchi Pix, except, throughout its life, your UniTama will post on its social media and you will be able to scan a QR code on your phone to download these posts and share them on your own real life social media. Change what pieces of furmiture you leave in the garden and see which kinds of garden pets they attract. Your UniTama will then make friends with a new garden pet! The UI is so nostalgic! It's super retro! The colors, icons, backgrounds and more all bring to mind 90s and early 2000s online flash games and websites. The jingles and sound effects are a bit faster on the Uni than on other models and now the NPCs have adorable warbling voices when they speak. The 3rd arcade game changes depending on the season. Since I got mine during Wintertime, I've only played the Winter seasonal game, Snow Catch. The other two fixed games are Dance (uses the motion sensors) and Fast Food, a scroll and select game that is quick and easy to win, granting you 300 gotchi points per win. This Tamagotchi version is the easiest to accumulate a lot of money on.

Initially I wanted the angel festival one but then the monster carnival design started to grow on me. The shell design is a lot more my taste and even fashion style lol. AF was also sold out. Anyway, so I went with the monster carnival one. At first, I thought my package had been opened because of the multiple layers of tape so I mistakenly returned it. Then, I found a review video and the person mentioned all their unis came like that, so I made the plunge and just opened my next one lol. This is my first ever tamagotchi. It was really simple and easy to understand, and anything I didn't know I just googled. My favorite part about it is the cuteness and simplicity. I'm glad it doesn't actually take that much maintenance, its more of a few times a day kind of thing. I used to play a lot of mobile apps, which required SO much upkeep to stay on top of the new updates/items/etc (and not to mention the microtransactions). I eventually quit those. So in comparison, I love how way more laidback and less intense tama uni is. At first it felt a little bit like self-care/therapeutic because it was something that required you to check multiple times a day, and it was low stakes. But then, i got used to it I guess and that feeling went away. I've only had it for a few weeks and I know I'm definitely gonna keep it and keep playing it forever. (adult here lol) I can't wait to get different tamas and see how they act. It's not a very complex game, but it's cute seeing the little different moments you can get. The minigames did get repetitive since theres only 4 (the 3 arcade ones and the monster carnival one). Then again, I'm new so maybe there's more? There's also a monthly event at the arena I aim to try soon. I wish there were more minigames or more complex ones, just to give me a goal to work towards. Quite expensive, but I hope it will pay off in the long run after I raise more tamas. Fun, cute, and simple!

This Tamagotchi is the one I've wanted to get for so long, and I finally found it here in November 2025. At first, I doubted it was going to work fine, but it does. There is no problem at all with this device; it works as perfectly as other Tamas I've gotten. Bandai does a pretty good job on this type of electronic pet and the security it keeps on reinstating for kids to use it, and it is just required to make sure to keep it up-to-date. It was easy for me to use it; it was already charged and didn't even need to plug it. It is very tiny and easy to play handy or on the wrist.
