For the money, you get a pretty decent, medium build quality product. The wheels in the drawers are a bit cheap and noisy. Consider treating them with silicon grease to quiet them and increase their operational lifespan. To successfully assemble this, you’ll need: - a large carpeted space - a high quality Phillips screw driver or masochism - A drill with a Phillips bit and another bit to drill a couple holes in your wall - three to ten hours, depending how comfortable you are with assembling furniture, and how much energy you have. Many hands make light work (but may require duplicate tools). Nice-to-haves: - a dolly - a piano dolly - the requisite knowledge to set the drill to not strip the wood when driving screws, so you can avoid driving every screw by hand There are two sets of two connecting pieces that serve identical-seeming functions, but that must be diligently not confused for each other. They’re visually distinct, but if you go strictly by their purpose (e.g. if you’re tired), you’re liable to mix them up. I take joy in these involved projects, but if you don’t, buy assembled furniture. Antique stores and second hand stores can be great, especially if you own a truck. ... show more

I’m happy with the piece overall but it came with a strong odor similar to fish-sauce. It’s diminished a lot since I bought it but when you first open it you still get a bit of the smell.

In these days of prefab and do it yourself furniture assembly, its not bad, but you get what you pay for even though it seemed like a lot! I long for the days where you went to a store, picked out what you wanted and had it delivered all put together already.
