Seemed sturdy but I didn't get to find out how well it holds up trash as the smell of the bag was overpowering and headache-inducing that I ended up throwing it away. The smell filled the entire apartment in a bad way. Will not be using the rest of the pack unless absolutely necessary.

I think I received a counterfeit item, or a retail reject. The bag was black and had a horrible artificial scent. When I have bought these from local stores the bags are white and smell fresh. Picture shows store bought on left (white) and Amazon bought on right (black).

These are very light duty bags that are flimsy and rip very easy. Be careful to not lift them from the top when full or even a light load but support the bottom or the whole top of the bag below the drawstring can rip off leaving you with trash all over the floor. very disappointed. I think that these bags are worthless. Their motto "We Got You Covered" yeah, you got my floor covered in trash. I had a bag out and accidently opened the sealed bottom by accident because the seam was held together so lightly. These bags are listed no returns so you will just be screwed out of your money like I was.

A thicker plastic bag (i.e. hefty) is the best route to go if you want durable. These bags are better than the thin plastic kitchen bags, but they still rip from a lot of strain. Also, if I have something in the trash and the bag isn't in the trash bin, my cat will claw at the bag, and it will easily rip/tear with almost no effort. The scent of the bag also attracts my cat, which is bothersome. Some cats have a strange habit of licking plastic bags, so I would not recommend something with a scented interior because of this. After a while, the scent is nauseating, too.

Good trash bags that did not rip even when I loaded it with a lot of trash. I’m impressed with the quality of glad and I look forward to buying more glad products like more trash bags. I think I spend a lot on trash bags because they smell good. I also like the color and texture of this trash bag and on top of that they include like 40 of them instead of just one. I love the smell when I move my arms up and down to get some air in these trash bags and the smell from these new trash bags hits my face like a freight train. I think I might be addicted to trash bags. Please help me I think I’m addicted to buying trash bags

I've never given reviews about trash bags but I'm making an exception here. These bags are the best I've ever used. They have everything I like about them. First off, they're gray on the outside and black on the inside---cool! They stretch, have a nice scent and can handle everything I feed into them. I never really thought one way or another about any tall white bags I've used before but some show through what's inside- like when dumping coffee beans out----gross! Used to throw the beans in the disposal but don't have one where I live now. I suppose that's when I started noticing these things. Anyway, they're my go-to ONLY trash bags from now on. Kudos to Glad!

I thought that this was the same product that I was using when I ordered them. Just a different color. By the time that I started using them, and realized how inferior they were, I figured that I couldn't get a refund. I also learned that some well known brands provide inferior products resembling more serviceable items. Buyers beware.

I have been using these for a while now. While certainly not cheap trash bags, I think they are worth every penny. More or less, these bags effectively do what they are made to. The purpose in the design is so they can: --retain a very strong bag that can flex a lot, reduce tears/punctures, and can carry a lot of weight without breaking, --utilize an easy pull-string design for accessibility, and --reduce the odor of garbage using methods to neutralize odors. They do a great job in accomplishing all of the above. I live alone, so my garbage production is rather low. Historically, I've taken out the trash more due to odors than it being full. Since I have started using Glad's OdorShield, I've been able to 'get my moneys' worth by reducing the frequency I need to take out the trash (which in an apartment is kind of a pain!), reducing the amount of waste I produce (fewer bags go to the landfill, which also saves me money), and keeps a scent that is much more pleasant than what it would be otherwise. Even when these things are loaded to a point of bulging and being so heavy that you practically need a forklift to move it, they still do a great job at keeping trash inside the trash bag (and outside of your living room floor or front yard). Given these work so well, I don't mind the slightly higher price and have been using them for quite a while, and plan to continue to use them in the future. I think if you give them a try you will be very happy with them.
