Our water-based formula dilutes easily. Once in mixture, Talak 7.9% Insect/Outdoor Insect Control dries clear, leaves no residue, and is odor-free. Mix 1-6 teaspoons Talak 7.9% Insect/Outdoor Insect Control with 1 gallon water. One gallon mixed solution treats 1,000 sq ft. Bifenthrin Concentrate is so effective our lizards had to move out!
The active ingredients in Tallac is exactly what is used by many of the major extermination companies both inside and out. It is orderless and colorless after application. It is all that we use deep south Louisiana to control all the tiny critters that we have. We know this because we dead bugs on occasion 6 months after we put it down in the house. We spray it twice a year along the backs of al the counter tops and baseboards everywhere. It remains effective after you wipe down splash boards or baseboards. When you broadcast it lightly outside in the perimeter of the house you don't have the mosquitoes at all or the various bugs that like to circle around the floodlights outside. It either kills or is a barrier to the tiny white things that kill patches of grass. Works well around vegetable plants too. The primary ingredient is FDA approved for use in restaurant food prep areas in some brands. It is very cost effective! A gallon lasts 2 years for us with a half-acre yard and 4,300 sq. ft. that includes a 3X garage. Bifenthrin Concentrate is so effective our lizards had to move out because their food supply died! Excellent product
THIS STUFF WORKS! Hubby set up his 1-gallon sprayer, added the recommended amount + we purchased a separate IGR product (fleas in summer are prolific this year & an IGR product is required to kill eggs) and it's working! We have lots of squirrels and birdlife outside, so we know fleas are on the upswing there, too. Used it outside & inside (we left home after spraying for 4 hours leaving windows open). The next morning, we found 13 huge beetles on the back patio, the next day there were 11 - and we weren't focusing on those. If it killed those huge beetles so easily, we know the fleas are dead, too. We have 44 1/2 yd of rock outside (front & back - no lawn), plus raised planters for trees and plants. The ants outside are also bad this year and it seems to have worked for that, too. Hubby always used Ortho to spray the perimeter (which also works) - but it doesn't work nearly as well as this product. He'd sprayed Ortho a few weeks before & we found 6-7 beetles dead - but the numbers after spraying THIS product? Off the charts. Don't waste your $$ on Ortho - this is far cheaper and far, far more effective. No odor inside or out after spraying, either. Highly, highly recommend. Don't waste your time with other products (other than an IGR to kill flea eggs) - if you're going to spray, spray for EVERYTHING. ... show more

Works great I had a flea problem and this word as said, some comments said you have to use after mixed I find that this is not true as I have used days after mixing and still it killed many joro spiders on contact. Would definitely buy again.

Works really well
I’ve been using this every few months as part of my regular bug-control routine, and it has been very effective. It’s easy to mix and apply, has minimal odor, and a little concentrate goes a long way. I’ve noticed a significant reduction in bugs and mosquitoes around the house after spraying. Easy to use and effective
With a brand new house we were surprised to see crickets, ants, carpet bugs and spiders on the daily. Did some research and decided on this product. Because it wasn't a true infestation but just an annoying number of bugs, I decided to start conservatively. My method: -Mixed 1 oz into a gallon of water (in hand pump sprayer from hardware store) -Inside, sprayed threshholds only -Outside, sprayed the entire perimeter, being careful to avoid plants -Attached garage, sprayed entire interior perimeter and window ledge I had about 1/4 gallon leftover (3000 sf house). Per the label it should not go down the drain, and needs to be used up within 24 hours. So to get rid of the leftovers I sprayed some around the utililty points of entry and along the walkway where the concrete meets landscaping rock. Once the sprayer was empty filled it with tap water and sprayed until empty to remove any residual chemical and avoid clogging. Results? So far, so good. It's been one week and have seen zero bugs. I am hoping since everything that was inside is now dead, I can maintain by spraying the perimeter only, every 1-2 months. I was happy the lowest concentration worked. Remember that stronger is not always better--do not use stronger than the highest recommended by the label as bugs may just avoid it altogether (they need to have contact with it). We have 2 cats and I felt ok using it around them- since I only sprayed the threshholds indoors it was easy enough to stand nearby while it dried to ensure they didn't prance through it. I do think they miss their nighly cricket hunt but I don't miss the cricket body parts I would find most mornings. I recommend this product and am happy to have avoided the hundreds it would cost a company to come spray the same stuff. ... show more

Works GREAT!
We have been struggling with ants, fire ants, and mites. The biggest ant mound we had around a tree was my first spray. We watched in amazement at the ants struggling to walk, loosing their balance and then dying. The next morning the mound of dead ants was unbelievable. They must have kept coming up to the surface and the poison got them. I have sprayed all our chicken pens and not a sign of any mites now. Wish I would have found this years ago.
