These actually make it to where I an not hearing any other distractions. As far as battery life, I've not gotten them to run low on juice. It claims 100 hour charge, I work a 40 hour week and they're still going. I am amazed to get as product this good at such a low price. Sound is fantastic. A magical experience. Excellent quality. No mic to mess with but it works better than all my previous mics. Have a windows ac unit very close to where I sit at. The combination active abd passive noise cancelation seems to reduce that thundering noise by about 80%. The controls are very intuitive. Only one negative which is occasionally there are three shrill beeps when opening a new application. This issue may be an issue with how the program processes mic and sound combination items. Not an issue with the headphones themselves. An additional issue is that there does not seem to be a mute button on the headphones themselves. They are pretty decent. I like the long battery life and noise canceling ability. They do cancel out most noises, but not all the way. Whatever you are listening to even volume 1/4-1/2 way up, it leaks out sound. They are real comfortable, but sound quality can be better. Its uneven treble and bass ratio. I do quite a bit of lawn mowing and these are so comfortable and the noise reduction is so good they are now my go to noise protection. The sound quality is very good as well. They seem lighter than my old ear protection, almost like they are not there. Glad I tried them out!

These seem sturdy and well made out of the box, though quite heavy. However, I didn't get much further than that in trying these headphones because the size is problematic. If you are a man or someone with a large head or lots of thick hair, these headphones will probably fit you. I am writing this review for all of the petite women out there. These are a definite pass. I couldn't clearly capture the huge gap between the top of the headphones at the shortest setting and the top of my head so I placed a pencil there to illustrate. Even with the pencil filling up the extra space the headphones were slipping down my ears. The headphones are very heavy and during the very brief few minutes that I wore them I felt like they were going to fall off the back of my head, and it was very uncomfortable having the outer foam piece resting over my ears. Decent fit and noise canceling without the ANC feature, which is the biggest drawback. You hear static, buzzing, high pitch whirs when turned on; you wouldn't think you would with such a feature. You have to also hit the button for up or down, twice, to change songs or stations.
