I saw this watch in a magazine advertisement and thought it was nice. Then I stopped in a jewelry store and tried the watch on! Wow! I have not worn a watch in 15 years but I found one I didn't want to take off my arm! We searched on thru websites and when we saw Amazon had the watch for less $$ then the retail jewelry store my husband said buy it! We did and I am sooo glad! When I received it the watch had to be adjusted to my wrist so I stopped in the jewelry store and they checked it out and said they thought it looked as good as the one they were selling.     • Let down twice...heartbreaker. Are zero stars available?
This lovely watch caught my eye and the reviews were near perfect. So my hopes were high when my first watch arrived in March 2010. Though indeed it was beautiful, I could not get it to work. The side buttons did not control the timer, nor would the timer hand stop moving around the numbers (it is supposed to be stationary, until you engage the timer). With a heavy heart, I sent it back. Then another shock; Amazon was not going to pay for shipping OR the required (and expensive) insurance to mail the item back. I finally was able to get a refund after much stress and ado. The second watch arrived and it worked for almost 5 months. Now the timer has stopped short 3 seconds from the 12 o'clock mark. While it will continue if you engage the button, it still stops 3 seconds short when you are done timing. For this price, the watch should work perfectly, so I wrote an email to Amazon with my concern. Much to my surprise, not only had they correctly refunded the first watch, they incorrectly refunded the second watch right after it was ordered (verified with my bank). I have no idea why there was a second refund when I did not return the watch, nor request a refund. So now Amazon has requested I return the watch immediately which will mean going through all that hassle again and not having a watch. Now I am in the process of looking for an appropriate box to return the watch and requesting that Amazon pay for the insurance (they will pay shipping). I did not even request a refund for the two charges for each watch to have links removed to fit my wrist (about $30). I hope they'll end up making this right, though this whole experience has been so, so negative. TAG has such a great reputation; am I simply unlucky, or is their product quality slipping? I question whether or not to buy another TAG (certainly not the same model)? Also, I have been a very good buyer and fan of Amazon. This is in question at the moment pending the resolution of this issue. Everyone makes mistakes, but it is how you resolve that mistake that can make a difference. ... show more

I won this Tag Heuer Diamond watch from Oprah The O magazine ran a contest "A place in time" and they est. the watch at $4500.00, I'm sure it's worth every cent. I am thinking of selling it. I have to pay the taxes on it, it's better for me to take the loss and seeing you can purchase the watch for a little more than half of what it is worth, it's for that reason I haven't even tried it on. It's really lovely though... It's exciting that it came from Oprah Winfrey as part of her favorite O list items, we all know she has taste. ... show more

    • beautiful watch; worth the price
I had some reservations about spending this much money for a watch, seeing as the most expensive watch I've had in the past was no more than $300. This watch is very beautiful and has a nice weight and feel to it when worn. It is also very durable. I have a toddler that loves to play with my watches. There are diamonds around the face, and there are diamond markers. Do not worry that it is too many stones. It is very elegant and not gaudy even though it has many diamonds. I can wear it with my casual weekend wear and also with my business suits. I absolutely love the watch and would buy another Tag product. ... show more

    • Sporty Bling for day and night
I started looking at this watch because my husband owns a Tag Heuer link watch and it's fab.... this one is far better because it adds bling to an already great watch. It's perfect for everyday and transforms into an elegant evening watch right when you change your clothes. The best of both worlds!
