An exquisite timepiece dressed in stainless steel, the TAG Heuer Men's Grand Carrera Chronograph Calibre 17 RS Watch is a classy chronograph of the highest caliber. Its classy demeanor begins with a 43.5mm stainless steel case and a fixed stainless steel bezel, which features a tachymeter with black markers. The right side of the watch features a guarded stainless steel screw-down fluted crown with two pushers. The circular silver guilloche dial, which is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, offers luminous silver- toned index hour markers and hands powered by Swiss automatic movement. The dial also delivers a date display window at the 6 'o clock position and two chronograph sub-dials with 30-minute and 60-second displays. A stainless steel bracelet straps the watch to your wrist, while a luxurious hidden fold over clasp with double push button makes sure it stays there. Finally, the watch offers water resistance up to 330 feet (100 meters).

I own a number of Tag Heuer watches ranging from 2000's to 6000's, Kirium, Formula 1, and others. I've grown to expect a high level of quality, craftsmanship and presentation from the TAG Heuer brand. However when I purchased the Grand Carrera Chronograph Calibre I was in for an enormous surprise. This watch is simply perfect, I cannot fault it in any way, it stands out with a beautiful dial and bezel. The Grand Carrera presents itself in a way that is pure class, it's not ostentatious or oversized, it is plain old simply perfect. I have spent almost triple the price of the Grand Carrera on a Rolex President and feel torn if I'm asked what my best watch is, it's not something that you can always measure simply in currency. Each and everyone of these high end timepieces are distinguished in a different way and each has it's own personality, this is something that I've come to learn over years of collecting. Trying to explain this to somebody who has no care for watches would make you look quite foolish. I reccomend this watch for somebody who wants a beautiful timepiece that will add a whole load of vivaciousness to your wrist without treading into verbosity. ... show more

    • Terrible!
From the day i received the watch, i had nothing but problems with it! It gains 5-6 minutes per month. As i did not want to ship it back to Amazon, i decided to bring it to my local "authorised" TAG Heur" service centre, to have it repaired. The watch went back to them a total of 3 times, and they always gave me the same excuse that the watch was "magnetised..... This is unbelievable as i own several other watches, which i wear under the same circumstances, and can't help but wonder why they're not getting magnetised? When i finally had enough frustration, the watch was sent back to Amazon, and was told they needed to change a part which was not in stock. When i received it 6-7 weeks later, i discovered it was still gaining at least 5 minutes per month!! I tried calling Amazon, and got the run around for a while as i kept going back, and forth between the watch repair center, and the Amazon customer service. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! When at last i managed to speak to the supervisor, i was told "it is normal for this type of timepiece to gain at least 5 minutes per month", and since it's now out of warranty, i will have to pay for any repairs. I pleaded with them that this was a recurring problem, but she was firm in her decision. Guess, i ended up with an expensive timepiece, which DOESN'T keep time..... This is the last time i purchase a watch from Amazon! ... show more

    • A real classy watch
This is a classy elegant watch. It looks expensive. The white is just so rich looking and the inside chrome has also the right amount of shine. No pictures compare to what it looks like in reality. I have had it since 2011 and it looks and works perfectly. I use it only for a few months a year. i bought this watch for 4300 and now it lists for 6999 so guess its a valuable piece to keep looks as beautiful as the day i bought it ... show more

    • Most beautiful watch....
I didn't buy this watch here at amazon, i was lucky enough to get a black Friday sale on the Tag Heuer boutique in a NY outlet mall. But i felt like I had to come here and tell everyone how beautiful this watch is!!!! when you hold it on your hands or put it on you wrist. No picture does it justice. By the way, the white is much prettier than the black, it somehow stands out more, i saw both at the store. The watch is perfect, the weight is solid.... If you are on the fence......jump!!! buy one!!!! ... show more
