Got this for my husband, and he loves it. It's perfect for in between seasons. The best part is the fit. It fits nicely. He's very tall, and it's long enough, and the sleeves are long enough. So that was really nice. A lot of jackets are too short on him, even when we order the Tall sizes. But this one was accurate sizing.

When I was coming up, the only jackets you could get like this were filled with feather down and very expensive; if you got them wet, however, they were absolutely worthless. This is a nice quality puffer jacket filled with polyester and it keeps you warm even when it’s wet. It’s very lightweight and little longer than most. It goes to mid-thigh, which I like. It comes with a hood that doesn’t have drawstrings, but if you zip the coat all the way up, the hood fits nicely around your face. You also get four good sized pockets – two inside, two outside – that you can cram a lot of stuff into. You have a choice of 15 colors. There are two drawbacks: the jackets seem to run a little small and this is a hand-wash only item. If you keep those in mind, I think you will find this cool weather coat very useful, indeed. I’ll be wearing it to work in November. Recommended.

This is probably more of an affordable fashion accessory than expedition gear. It looks nice. The shell fabric is thin, there are no cinch cords for the waist or hood which are important for complete insulation, no zipper wind flap, and no particular insulation claims (better jackets have hollow core synthetic insulation fibers). 2 outside zipper and 2 inside open pockets. Decent main zipper though can catch on the thin shell fabric easily. Medium is generously sized. I am 5'10" 150 lbs and can easily fit a three layers under it, including a heavy fleece top. Length is good for hip coverage. Because I received this through Vine, I feel obligated to put out a review promptly, but it is impossible to test cold weather performance in summertime Philadelphia. Will have to update later. Because of the thin shell fabric, I think of it as more of a synthetic down sweater than an outer jacket. Will compress well and is light for travel, though should not be stored compressed or can lose it's "loft"

Super lightweight. The jacket didn't poof up as much as I had expected it to. The jacket is about a 1/4 inch thick and squishes down. It makes a slight swishing noise if you move your arms when you walk. It's quite warm, I would say a bit warmer than a hoodie. The hood is quite small. I think it would be only usable to throw under another coat or a large hoodie on really cold days or during hunting season.
