Essential TAPS upgrade
Color: Green
Size: Large
Buy two sets and chop the Velcro off of your taps rig. This will be night and day in terms of performance and longevity. Personally, I suggest a harbor freight grommet tool in addition to make it easier on certain parts where there's nothing to tie the shock cord to and you need a grommetted hole to thread the cord through.

What you make it to be
Color: Brown
Size: Large
Bought these to replace the Velcro retention system on my TAPS rig because i have the magpul base plates making the Velcro system very difficult to work with. I like these because YOU get to set the retention. There is plenty of length to these. If I’m not mistaken i used 1 piece and was able to get 2 mag pouches out of it. Where they are fairly long you could add or replace the shock cord or retention system on a backpack or pouch, so i think these are very versatile.

Had a couple of mag holders that needed additional security. MP5 mags, AR, Pistol, worked like a charm on multiple holders. Great added security easy fix.
