    • Great value, simple setup and work great
I have been using this for a couple months now and camera is still 100% in very high traffic areas. I like that it folds adding additional protection for storage and transport. Easy setup with options for how you want to secure it with plenty of adjustability. I have these on stakes in the ground and on trees. Both options work great. Overall very easy to setup and loving not having to burn through batteries. ... show more

    • No direct sunlight? No problem!
These things work great. Not even in direct sunlight and keeping 100% charge. Love the Tactacam products!

    • Worth it
Definitely saves on battery costs. Once plugged in we have not run the trail cams down. We have experienced plenty of cloudy days and have not had issues.

    • A little bit torn on this, but it's working well.
As a solar panel on my Reveal camera, it's doing a fine job. But... You're doubling the size of solar panel and making it into a more easily transportable package. Okay I suppose. But honestly I don't really need a 25% increase in the ease of transportation. The solar screen is 2x as wide now. But the whole thing is 2.25x times or more larger. I'm taking it out in the woods and leaving it there, foldability doesn't even show up on my list of needs. Make me a panel twice as large, cut out the complexity and the increased chances of something breaking, save money on manufacturing costs and pass that on to me, I'll buy more. Because cheaper beats folding any time. Besides the unneeded complexity, it adds to mounting issues. Your mount holes are on one side, so it's uneven and out of balance. Gravity makes it want to rotate so you really have to crank down on it. Again, for the unneeded ability to fold. ... show more
