Cool tabletop flame with interchangeable tops. Easy to use. I used mine with ethanol which burns clean, but I don't think I would want to eat a marshmallow that has been roasted on an ethanol or alcohol flame. They burn clean so it's probably technically safe, but tastes bad. The headline of the product mentions s'mores but I think it is an inferior product for marshmallows. The flame is very difficult to see if the fuel starts to run low so it may look like it is not on while throwing still being very hot and could burn someone if they touch it in that state. ... show more

This is a really cute tabletop firepit that is attractive enough to leave out even when not in use. My kids are huge s'mores fans, but we live in a rainy area. With this little tool, they can roast marshmallows year-round. The kit itself doesn't come with fuel. Make sure to purchase this separately beforehand if you would like to give it as a gift. This pit is excellent. It’s been machined out of solid marble (3 3/16” tall x 4 11/16” across the top). It’s white with veins of several shades of gray (this pit has more gray than white, the extinguisher (3” across x 9/16” tall) has more white than gray). The visible areas are polished very smooth to a high gloss. It comes with a (5 5/8” across x 3/16” thick) silicone trivet to set the pit on when burning. The burn chamber (cup) is 304 stainless steel 2 5/8” across x 2 ¼” tall. There are blue and white cobblestones to surround the top of the burn chamber. It also includes three stainless steel, decorative, fire limiting covers to limit the flames if that’s desired. After the fire is started, one of these are set on top of the burn chamber with the included 4 7/8” tweezers. This also comes with a butane torch with flexible extension and tips to fill the torch (butane not included. Torch is empty). With Swan brand 70% isopropyl alcohol, I get a smokeless, over an hour burn time. FYI, the weather parameters, different brands, different fuels (they recommend bio-ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, rubbing alcohol or even gel fuel) get different results. I've used different brands and different % of isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. Some burn clean and some burn with a faint black smoke which you should use outside because of the fumes and setting off the smoke detectors. Don't let this detour your use, just use that fuel outside. There are many fuels out there that burn clean. Burn pits are awesome! You can use them indoors and out. Very inexpensive to burn. No messy or dirty wood to deal with, no fumes, no ashes, etc.. There are many different fuels you can burn. They produce heat and great ambiance. Who doesn't like watching a fire burn. Right! This is one of the prettiest fire pits I’ve seen. I like marble. If you like marble, I’m sure you’ll like this too. 5 stars all the way! ... show more

I’m not really sure how to make it work or what I need to add to it for the fire component. Otherwise it’s very sturdy and has a fun heart or snowflake ensemble. It’s nice and small to make s’mores inside.

The media could not be loaded. Hopefully my pic next to my remote helps gage size. This is a beautiful piece! It is very heavy, obviously real marble. It is super attractive as a center piece on any table whether you use it or not honestly. But I will not be lighting it for the first time without my husband lol. I have no idea what to do with it and there are no instructions. In fact the only thing with any instructions at all is the wrapper the nozzles for a can of butane, which is not included for filing the included torch but I am familiar with torch lighters and butane already. I had to give 4 stars and only for easy to use simply because there is no instructions. I'm sure it is easy to use just not easy to guess. O well, I have no doubt we will get this thing fired up at some point tonight and enjoy it. I will add an update After some research found out to use rubbing alcohol. 70 or 90 percent. Was scared at first but it isn't scary lol. I think 90 precent would work better i am using 70. But it's really cool. I like it ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The marble stone that this firepit is made of is gorgeous and the colored 'rocks' for the rim is a nice touch. The one thing though is we like the little shape inserts that go on top of the firepit, but they don't allow enough air in to keep the flame going once the fuel starts to burn down and if you take them off, the flames are over a foot high. It would be nice for a happy medium. We like that it comes with its own lighter, but you'll need butane on hand to fill it. ... show more
