The plans and diagrams appear to be detail enough to build the projects. And usually each project will include alternative methods to complete in a similar design. This is a good book with clear instructions on each project... anything you get from Woodsmith will be great quality. The only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is because I didn't like the designs as much. They were a little too plain. All the books in this series are jammed packed with great projects and tips, especially for beginners like me.You cannot go wrong.Both Oxmoor and Time Life published these titles.
