Arrives from China well packaged and safe despite the best efforts of the postal velociraptors. The box is heavy and if you can’t heft around 75+ lbs, get help. The directions are generally very clear and easy to figure out. A total of about 47 coherent, sequential steps and most every piece has a sticker with a number to match the illustration to move this along. Good illustrations and there is no need for degree in engineering from MIT or mastery of several foreign languages to complete. The hardware is well labeled in marked baggies and is of moderate quality; with some casting and thread errors that you would NOT see with top of the line hardware at ACE but it is adequate for the job. They even include a bag of ‘extra hardware’ in case something is missing from the labeled bags (yes, 2 screws were missing from one bag) The quality of the material in the furniture is good. Mostly dense particle board with a very good and thick veneer, some actual wood. It is sturdy, cut correctly, holes line up without a hammer and milled to square. The assembled sturdiness is very nice. You can move it without sag or twist at the corners. The tempered glass counter top fits perfectly and is very well finished and edged. The drawers & hinges are better than one would expect and open and close smoothly. The cabinet door fit right first time, I never had to adjust the adjustable hinges. The adjustable mirror light is a very, very nice touch and the sliding barn door design for the mirror is quaint and slides easily. The bench is well padded and sturdy, and made of real wood. I wanted to free up more space on my bathroom counter and this makeup vanity is just perfect for what I needed and fits my space beautifully. I was a little worried about it arriving without damage but it was delivered in a couple of days in great condition. I was super impressed with the packaging. Every single piece was in tact and fit in the box like a puzzle. There are a lot of pieces but everything was there and neatly packaged with labels. I was not short one single screw. It took me about 3 hours to assemble by myself (I'm a 60-year old woman) but it wasn't difficult at all. I followed the very detailed easy to read instructions and had no issues whatsoever. The vanity is petite but very sturdy. The bench seat is pretty solid but short for my liking so I use a pillow on top. The mirror slides nicely and has several light settings for different makeup situations. I am thrilled with how much storage is in this vanity. I've basically been able to store more than 5 shoeboxes full of stuff, brush caddies and all kinds of other things. The glass top is beautiful. The drawers are nice and good size. The largest drawer doesn't open/close as smoothly as I think it should but probably because the slides were a little out of shape. Other than that, the lower door is soft close and being able to adjust the shelves has been wonderful! I would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable, nicely made vanity. The media could not be loaded. I've been wanting a vanity forever and I finally got one. I love almost everything about it. It took a long time to build, which I didn't mind, but it is very intricate. There is so much space and you can put the shelves at whatever level you need. I love the lighted sliding mirror. The color is prefect. My boyfriend it looked small but it's perfect for me. The only thing I don't like is the seat. I'm 5'8" athletic and very fit. It feels way too small and awkward. I am using a padding folding chair and using the seat that came with it as a footstool. Overall I am in love with my vanity and highly recommend it. ... show more

I searched a long time for a mirrored vanity for my teen and I've been extremely pleased with this vanity. It was affordable, very sturdy and looks great overall. By far, the most impressive things about this vanity: it was packaged wonderfully, nothing damaged or broken; and the instructions were so detailed that I never questioned if had the right piece, if I was using the right part, etc. These were the best instructions! I would have given 5 stars had it been just a little more aligned, the light was brighter, and if the stickers were caps for the screws/hardware instead. I made everything flush as I could and it is still off kilter with the drawers. It also came with a small scuff in the large glass piece. All in all it’s a beautiful piece, sturdy, and functional. I’m very excited to add it to my room renovations. I had no missing parts, everything went together seamlessly with the easy to follow step-by-step instructions. It is quite heavy and depending on your physical abilities or restraints, it may take two people to build. You also need a Phillips head screwdriver as one is not provided and it is what is used the most. ... show more
