I purchased this T4Tream 5-drawer chest of drawers to replace a chest of drawers that I bought at auction. This dresser is solidly built for a pre-pack item and the instructions were highly readable and easy to use to assemble the item. The instructions were very good with good assembly diagrams which kept me from making errors while putting it together. It DOES take a long time to assemble, but I would rather take my time and do it right the first time than try to rush the job and possibly have to take it back apart to fix it. I am a “pre-pack veteran” as I have put together many different types of these pieces of furniture in my lifetime. I’m 55 years old and have some hand/wrist issues, but was able to assemble this item in around 4 hours working all alone in a slightly cramped area. The finished product looks good and is the closest match I can find to a headboard I bought from a different source. It IS pressboard covered in a decorative finish paper and not the equivalent to solid wood and dove-tailed drawers, but then the same item in “solid wood” would have cost me between $500-1000 and would not have been the “look” I wanted in my room (nor could I find all the pieces I wanted available in the SAME finish in solid wood…yes, I looked!) Time will tell, but the drawers slide well, it stands sturdy, it looks good in my room, and at this point I am very pleased with it and its sibs (I bought 2 nightstands, one chest of drawers, and one dresser.) I am putting them together slowly, one per weekend if I can fit it into my schedule. I’ve put together one nightstand and the chest of drawers so far. The nightstand took longer than the chest to assemble, so practice makes perfect! The boxes were packed well and managed to keep everything protected DESPITE my local UPS driver just “tossing” them into the yard SEMI-close to the deck steps (after which I had to single-handedly flip end-over-end / walk / slide the boxes up the steps onto the deck and into the house). So far, as I’ve opened boxes, nothing has arrived broken or chipped. The only caveat to my review is that if you buy, be sure to take note of the size measurements for drawer interiors and make sure they will suffice for what you want to put in them. I did not, and found that the inside measurements of the drawers were smaller than the size of the drawers I was replacing. This is definitely NOT a fault of the product; it is just a fault of the person BUYING the product. I didn’t compare. It still would not have changed my choice of purchase as I wanted to replace my $15 yard-sale and auction mish-mash of piecemeal bedroom furniture with something a little more “refined” and coordinated in appearance. It was just a “Oops! I guess I’ll have to thin out my sock collection a bit!” error on my part. My only issue with these is that I have had ONE of the decorative screws holding the decorative metal pieces on the nightstand that was missing. I just switched one of the screws on the side to replace the missing front screw for the time being so it doesn’t show. When I get a chance, I will contact the company and see if they can send me a replacement screw. I’ll update the review based on their response. As of this moment, I am very pleased with these product(s).

I researched a variety of dressers for our cabin for weeks. I knew that these would take time to build - And they did, but to us well worth it for the price and the sturdiness. The size is perfect and we love the color!! They are perfect for our needs. Great functionality also.

I was wary of ordering this after reading reviews. I'm pleased that I purchased it, though. It's indeed heavy--55 kilograms in a single box! But then, the materials are sturdy. It's time-consuming to put together, similar to Ikea's more difficult pieces. But pieces are cut and drilled well. I encountered one small piece of hardware that was defective; but then I was delighted to find a packet of spare pieces which had two more copies of that piece. I'd intended always to put this dresser inside a walk-in closet, so the appearance was less important than for most dressers. The only thing that was disappointing to me is that the drawers aren't aligned sharply. Some sag on the right, others on the left. They operate with ease, but the appearance isn't pleasing--hence four rather than five stars. Then again, the value and utility of the dresser are pleasing.

Bought this dresser over a year ago and was really happy with the overall look. The particle board was a little stinky, but that's to be expected at a price point like this. The following day I noticed that when I walked into my bedroom, something smelled funky... not chemical funky like normal fake wood... something smelled like a decaying animal. When I pulled the dresser drawers open it was very obvious where the rotting smell was coming from, as it was extremely overwhelming in the drawer. The smell transferred to the clothes said drawer was holding, but after airing the clothes out the smell would vanish. I ripped the whole thing apart and tried everything in my power to sanitize/deodorize the dresser. The smell returned in a day. I ripped the whole dresser apart again, bleached it, left it outside for a couple days. A few days after bringing the thing back inside the smell returned yet again. I though maybe we could wait it out, and now well over a year later there is still a STRONG rancid stench emanating from the dresser. The only reason I haven't rid myself of this thing is because I don't want to buy another dresser, but if the drawer is left open even a crack I will notice it as soon as I enter my bedroom. Despite what the odor would have you believe, there is nothing dead hiding in this dresser. I've torn it apart and searched it several times just to make sure. Save yourself from the horror of this dresser and look elsewhere.

This dresser was part of a bedroom set that alsoincluded 2 End Tables and 2 different 5 drawer dressers. They look as shown on the app. They are not super sturdy because of all the parts, but once set up in the room they are absolutely fine. If moving them just be careful (Moving men saucers made that very easy - except for the end tables which I was able to carry. The boxes they came in were very heavy (about 100-115 lbs for each of the larger ones, so devising the best way to bring them inside after they’re delivered will be helpful) They are time consuming to put together (end tables 1 3/4 hrs each, the 5 drawer dressers about 4 hrs each and the 6 drawer dresser about 3 3/4 hrs) The instructions were very good and made it easy to follow. I was able to do them all just by myself. Having another person to help would speed up the process. They all look great in the bedroom and would reccomend it to others.

You get what you pay for. This dresser is ok but not real high quality. The drawers don't open and shut smoothly. The drawer capacity isn't great. The anti-tip metal on the front legs is unattractive. Outside of that, the dresser does look relative nice despite is't moderate quality. Assembly was pretty easy and self explanatory. Overall, it gets the job done for a decent price.
