Description

The TurboKlone T48 Klone Machine helps you propagate a wide variety of plants aeroponically - without the use of soil or other growing mediums. The System has 48 Clone Sites that allow your plant cuttings to be suspended inside the TurboKlone where multiple spray jets send a continuous mist of nutrient-rich water solution to the clone roots, promoting the development of a healthy, robust root structure. It works perfectly for me. I get 100% success rate with roots starting within 1 week. Unit is sturdy and doesnt leak at all even with humidity dome on. I use fox farm nutrients at around 300 ppm.

I have tried building my own aeroponic cloners before. It simply cannot be accomplished in a rubbermaid bin, no matter what they leak and they hold so much water. I use the Clonex nutrient for clone machines and it is expensive so I like that this machine is designed to hold only 2 gallons. Not only does this machine have many more sites (I got the T24) The one I made held 15 gallons of water so this machine will pay for itself in nutrients alone which was a big selling point to me. The lid fits inside the base so the water doesn't leak. The fan is great and this is not only the only cloner I saw with a humidity dome but WOW what a dome! It could be taller but it's tall enough. It is made of thick sturdy plastic, I wouldn't be surprised if you could stand on it, I'm not going to try but wow good quality product that works. I have roots dangling down a week after ot arived. Very happy customer here! ... show more

I ordered one a few weeks back and the only issue was the grommet leaked on the drain plug and I replaced it myself. That was the only reason for no 5 stars originally. I just got my second one in today and, they upgraded the grommet to a larger one. It looks like they must constantly be updating this product without even calling it a new model or anything. Kudos to them!!!! Great product. Also note the fan blows out! It seems useless but it keeps the roots from rotting. Also, change the h2o daily! The lid is not necessary but it well made of thick plastic not the flimsy stuff like on the typical domes. ... show more

*8/17 Absolutely love this machine. I pulled one collar and cutting out to check on day seven and it was showing signs of rooting. I unplugged it for a minute to check underneath on day eight, (today), and all of my cuttings were showing signs of root development. I put approximately 8 liters of water in the reservoir and using Clonex cloning solution I started out at 6 ml per liter, at day 5 I bumped it up to 8 ml per liter. Still waiting for them to develop some more before I take them out. From what I'm seeing so far I'd say that this machine is well worth the money if you want to be sure and get roots on all of your cuttings. Seems to be living up to it's 100% ratio reputation so far. *Edit - Four years later and this thing is still going strong! I'm amazed by all the negative reviews that have sprouted up here, maybe quality control has dropped of since I bought mine...? I've started using just straight water in the reservoir for the first 5-6 days then adding just a few drops of General Organics CalMag and get great results, right around 100%! Absolutely love the design as well, all rounded corners inside, so there's no place for nasties to hide when cleaning! Best design in a aerocloner on the market! *(Little tip) It's best to try to keep the reservoir temperature below 80F, what I do is keep a couple ice packs, (or just small soda bottles with water), in the freezer so that I can toss one in the tank when the temp starts rising and I have one ready to switch it out with as needed. Had great success with the unit as far as clones go. Besides that, I’m not impressed. The only true advantage to spending much more on this cloner when compared to others is it’s size and shape. This unit has rounded edges, rounded corners which makes it very easy to clean in my opinion. The machine is a bit taller than others but not as wide or long, which makes it the better choice for small spaces. I installed the fan but did not plug it in. Had success without it. Now the bad, Quality control is lacking enormously. As others have mentioned, I was missing the collars.(sent an email to seller) I rinsed off all the dust from the unit, noticed the unit was used. (Sent another email) I also noticed the cutout notch for the pump power cord is offset so that the notch on the top of the unit is not aligned with the notch on the bottom of the unit. This will not allow the top to sit flush. Then had to repack return. Received replacement, got my collars with this one but yet again the unit is used. When you put this item under a high pressure sodium light it makes every smudge, spec and scratch very visible. There was a clear water line. Another used item. Also once again, the cutout notches for the power cord did not align top and bottom causing the top of the unit to see too the left. This was allowing light in. I had to make the cutout a lil bit larger to correct this. This seller made all this right and I’m happy with them. The manufacturer needs to step up their game big time, especially for the price. ... show more
