Tabletop with a straight edge is the work surface portion of Lorell Electric Height-Adjustable Workstations as well as the Lorell Relevance Series. It fits on Lorell Quadro Sit/Stand bases with button controller for a more versatile way of working so you can alternate between sitting and standing. The bases (sold separately) come in black or silver. 1" thick tabletop features a 3mm thick PVC edge banding that matches the Mahogany laminate finish on the top surface.

I was just expecting some run of the mill cheap thrift store type of particle board when I was buying this, but wow this was an incredible surprise to me. You can tell right when you pick it up just by the weight alone that this is a very dense and strong board, the laminate is sturdy and doesn't give off that feeling that it'll bubble up or peel off like those cheap particle boards I'm used to. I was even walking around this on the floor while i was putting the legs on and it didn't make the slightest little cracking sounds (and I'm a big man, about 270 pounds as I was putting this together). I just received this and it seemed packaged decently but they really should have thicker styrofoam especially on the edges. There was almost no cosmetic imperfections at all I see 3 tiny white dots 2 on the corners one towards the middle all of them are on the same side though so the facing up side is literally flawless. The quality is much higher than I was expecting I don't think you could find a more quality feeling laminate. If you got a full solid wood that was perfectly crafted and finished it would be slightly better but it would also cost like 4 times as much. If you care about the build quality and feel of the wood and finish I doubt you can really beat this without spending much much more. You could go in between with a ikea style internal particleboard and wood veneer top but those karlby countertops still cost double and don't really feel better. This is like 99% and a perfect solid wood is 100 i have felt very poor laminate like my current table and Its a much bigger gap to this table vs this table and the best stuff I have seen. I usually don't make reviews but I did this because buying cheaper wood laminate is always impossible online. it looks almost the same in pictures regardless of how cheap or quality it feels but this is great and the reviews were slightly below what I would expect for this quality. I assume most people are rating it bad because it came damaged in shipping but if you receive it undamaged this is definitely 5 stars to me. ... show more

For only $110 this table is massive, it is super sturdy and I do not have any problems fitting my things onto it. If you need a table than this is perfect you should pick it up and grab a sturdy pair of legs which should only cost about $30 to $40 depending on the length. Overall 9/10, only thing I wish for them to do is for them to have holes predrilled but definitely recommend to anyone in need of a big table. ... show more

Definitely a sturdy board! It doesn't feel cheap or anything. I put it on top of two Alex drawers from Ikea and it feels really supported. I can tell this was a really nice product before shipping got to it. It was easy to drill a couple holes into, which was great for the cable management shelf I screwed in the bottom. Shipping was okay. It came sooner than expected, but the mail people knocked this board around a lot. They sent it to my neighbor's house, and I had to go over there and get it in the pouring rain because they just left it outside. Most of the corners were scratched, but I have this up against a wall right now so you can barely see the edges. ... show more

At this price point, this is a really great deal. The finish on the wood itself is nice and there aren't any flaws with the edge banding. The finish feel does pickup fingerprints easily and feels more "plasticity" then a solid wood desktop, but for this price point its a very solid and good looking desk. ... show more

My top arrived severly busted, which is a bummer cause this is a GREAT desktop. Nice and solid and leagues better than those "pick a size" tops at Ikea. I've spent months searching for the perfect table/desk top that I didnt need to make myself. I wanted something longer than 60" which seems to be the length most standard desks stop, so this seemed right up my alley and boy is it. Nice and large and it (would) fit everything on it without feeling cramped like my old top, with room to spare for the cat to some lay next to the warm computer XD. Reached out to seller regarding damages and they responded quickly and hassle free. I'll most likely just be ordering another one and hope that it doesn't arrive broken, which is of little fault of the seller and more to do with the shipment of the item. I needed a cheap, sturdy desk. I considered IKEA but decided to try to find something a bit more sturdy. Considered butcher block from HD to add legs to but is closer to $100 just for the desktop. Decided to take a chance on this desktop and bought some legs here for $35 or so. All in I have a good size, sturdy desk for under $100. Much better than those deals from big box stores and I feel it will last much longer also. I personally had no damage to my desktop but the box was a little rough in some areas. ... show more
