I bought this shower rod for a small stall. It came packaged very carefully and fully assembled. I was able to place it, although the tension in the rod was rather stiff and it was a bit difficult to collapse to put it in place. The finish is more brushed nickle rather than nickel. I loved the shaped ends of the rod. However, because the ends are shaped with a taper, the shower curtain rings do not ho all the way against the wall. This leaves a bit of a gap. Secondly, the inside edge of one of the rods is very noticeable where it meets with the other rod. In another adjustable shower rod I own, that gap is concealed with a plastic ring (so no gap is visible. Other than that, the rod looks & works great so far.

As I am moving to another city, I have two showers which will need curtain rods. I ordered these using Amazon, and I received them a couple of days later. I hadn't bought any shower rods for several years now and I was afraid that the quality would be much less than those I had used for so long. It was such a pleasant surprise to open the box and find beautiful and strong tension rods!!! Great Quality!

I bought this shower curtain rod less than a year ago, and though it claims to be rust-proof, it rusted badly in less than one year. It also is hard to keep in place and keeps falling down.
