The media could not be loaded. I love the all the different color combinations. At first I thought it looked like a flying saucer - so I bought another- What a difference- the other can’t even compare to this one. This one is far ahead with all the different colors. It is by far my favorite. I don’t use it during the day because I don’t get sunlight. (I have to move it to a sunny spot during the day - so it’s not in water) wish I had more sunlight during the day. It will spurt during the day if I leave in the water but since I don’t get the sunlight - I just take it out and let it “solarize” for the night.

This little product makes your garden look better and bright. Make sure its always in the sunlight to recharge the batteries. Always clean the bottom suction area so you can get a better flow and i'll last for a while. I would buy it again!!!

I was out of state when this arrived, my fault for ordering too soon for the Amazon window but never had a problem like this in my many years as a Prime customer. The fountain worked for 5 days. It had plenty of water for the pump. I did not have a manual and did not want to damage it by trying to open the battery compartment, but I am willing to try batteries, but at this point I have a non working item after 5 days!!!!!

As other reviewers have commented, the fountain works well in bright sunlight and after dark BUT when the sun starts to set there is a period of several hours when there is no pumping until it is very dark. This is a problem for cocktail hour or dinner time. Just so people understand how it works.

The media could not be loaded. This fountain is completely solar powered so it must be in the sunlight. There is no on off switch or a switch for night mode. Just place it in the water in the sunlight and it will do the rest.it works as a nice fountain during the day and comes with multiple choices for the type of water flow that works for you best. If the lights don't come on at night then something is wrong with it. I had to return the first one I received because the would not go on at night, but the second one I received works perfect. These look great in bird baths but they probably would look cool in a pool also.
