I needed to upgrade my flowering tent from 2x2 to 4x4. The specs on this unit matched those of another unnamed manufacturer at about 1/3 the cost. The tent surprised me showing up the next day so I set it up with the old TS2000. Happy surprise, SZHLUX PT4000 LED Grow Light showed up a week early! Setup was easy, just slide shades onto the ends and hang it up. It's very lightweight and puts out a lot of light. The only negative is the lack of clarity and poor quality of the English Language timer and programming instructions. This doesn't harm my system, but I would like to better understand these features which might be of benefit to my operation. ... show more

I currently have this set up in a 5x5. I'm using it two grow some tropical Bonsai Trees during colder months. In the past 2 weeks my Trees have received more new growth that they have in the last 6 months next to a south facing window. The leaves are greener, the Trunk looks fuller. It is in a controlled environment where the temperature stays at around 80-82°F and RH around 40-50%. Im leaving the light on 16 hours a day. But if your wondering if this will do better than a south facing window. Then answer I yes. I also have watermelon, Jalapeño and cantaloupe around the edges of the tent and they love it. ... show more

Ok this thing is great! Good: it's bright. I don't have a meter but the plants really love it! I like the temp sensor. The build quality is good. And it is dimmable. Bad: my only real issue is the controls. They don't match the quality of rest of the unit. But they do work. And I would prefer a knob for the dimmer. But I don't think it's optimal for 6x6. Maybe veg only, I need more testing. I only used it for one complete grow so far. ... show more

Starting your own grow room is a lot of fun and of course its very rewarding the more you know. So I'm learning a lot. But this light here has the best group of ppfd's that I have found on most lights. The good price is also a good factor.

The light is powerful, bright and has great coverage for your canopy. The built in timer function is easy to use and rids yourself of purchasing a separate timer. About 6 months after the purchase one of the LED panels developed a flicker. I reached out to Szhlux through Amazon and explained to them of my issue. They responded quickly and a new panel was on its way to me within days. I highly recommend this product !! ... show more

These lights are a little flimsy, however for less than 200 I’m not gonna complain about 400w of juice! I’ve bought another two after the first arrived… edit.. after first harvest.. these lights perform very well. They are really only good to flower a 4x4 area. The LED timer light stays on so I cover it with tape. If these last even new a few years then I'll be more than satisfied. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Awesome, little 400 watt light. I've been satisfied with it from the get. Go doing my first grow and have had no problems. Little difficult to set up without the instructions. But it's not that hard to figure out. Wish it did had a USB Jack for wireless capability.
