The appearance of this pot is cute. The color is nice. It is light weight. There is a hole for drainage if you want to use it. The performance is great. I had a very small succulent that I wanted to replant into a larger pot and this was a great next step up. I would recommend this product.

(I bought 3 of these pots at the same time, so I'm copying/pasting because they're all the same quality even though they're in 2 different sizes.) Before buying, I saw several reviews saying that these pots weren't sturdy. I'm not sure I see what they mean, because the pots I received were all very sturdy plastic. At the very least, for comparison, they're no less sturdy than the pots I used to buy at a big-box home improvement store (the ones they used to sell in a center-aisle display, in all the vibrant colors?). All my plants are still very small, so I don't need anything with the strength of terra cotta or something. The only problem I DO have with them is that instead of having multiple small drainage holes all around the bottom of the pot, this just has one fairly large one. All 3 came with a plastic piece plugging that hole, I guess in case you don't want drainage? Or maybe I completely misunderstood its purpose and ripped it out. Anyway, I'd rather have lots of small holes over one large one (that's not even in the center), but maybe that's just a matter of preference. I suppose I also wish they weren't quite as deep, but in terms of all the objective things that matter, I think these are a good buy for the money. Plus the colors just make me happy.

Bought this for a patio lemon tree & as of now it is the perfect size & color! The tree is growing well & the pot seems like a quality pot for a very good price. Recommend the purchase!! Is very sturdy & easy to move around as needed.

I purchased a new indoor yucca plant recently and was looking for a lightweight 14" pot. (The yucca's name is "Paco.") This pot is perfect, and I like the graceful, curved lines. I'm learning to go with lightweight plastic pots rather than terra cotta or ceramic, because our houseplants tend to live a long time and I need to be able to repot them easily as they continue to grow. I wish that the listings for HC Companies pots included a link or picture of saucers in the same color that fit the pot. I searched but they are not easy to find, and they should be!

Actually 5.5 inches wide on inside, which is how pots should be measured. Not a big deal unless you need the measurement to be specific, which I did, so it was too small for the holder that I specifically purchased it for. They are cute and lightweight, so I thought about keeping the 2 I bought, but since they are cheaply made, I didn't think they were worth the $10 to keep, so I did return them. They are cute and I like that it has a drainage hole and plug so that it can be used for whatever you need it for. They arrived fast and the return was easy.
