Synthetic kits from the big name brand leaders can be very expensive. This kit is priced pretty competitively and appears to be of decent quality. I am gathering products both expensive and affordable for a comparison and will report back the results once a decent amount of tests have been completed. Not a bad set. The only thing I ran into when I started to put it on my winch was there is a metal part crimped on the end that goes on the winch. My kubota rtv has a 2500lb warn winch and the crimped end would not pass thru the hole in the winch spool. I decided to cut the tab off and tie a not in the synthetic cable like someone had done the real cable that I had taken off. I no longer question the strength of the synthetic cable. I used two or three different tools to cut it. Unbelievable. Everything is working fine. I don't mind experimenting when the price is as reasonable as this was. ... show more

Used on a 5000# winch on my utv. It lasted about 3 pulls and then snapped right in the middle of the rope. I’ve used other synthetic ropes and absolutely abused them and they lasted quite awhile…
