I bought this to record an event in a long chapel on a university campus. I tested it at home with over fifty 2.4ghz devices running at the same time on wifi and Bluetooth with no interference and the mic worked through walls. It really surprised me. It comes with a charging cable, case, two transmitters with built in microphones, a receiver, two lavapier mics, 2 magnets to attach the transmitters to clothing (or use the clip), 2 foam windscreens, 2 dead cat windscreens, and a TRS to TRS cable and a TRS toTRRS cable. The mics are easy and simple to use with plenty of features. They have gain control, two levels of noise reduction, and can do dual mono with one mic or stereo with 2 mics or a safety channel where one channel is recorded 6db lower than the other in case audio clipping occurs. I've found that the included lav mics sound decently well and are much better than the built in microphones. The devices came almost fully charged right out of the box which was very surprising but a pleasant surprise. I also was trying to figure out how to attach the receiver to the camera hot shoe, then I realized the clip on the back is designed to fit right into the hot shoe. Perfect and well thought out design, in my opinion. The microphones are plastic and lightweight so they feel somewhat cheap, but I feel they'll be durable enough for the intended use. They are not weather resistant however, but that's not an issue for me. Overall I'm very happy with this system and can't wait to try them out at the event I need to record in October.     • Affordable, reliable, flexible and great quality

Been very pleased with this product, using it to livestream yoga classes (instructor mic). Great sound, no cut-outs in a large room. Our receiver is plugged in 24/7. Having two mics is useful when an instructor walks off with one occasionally. We replaced a RODE Wireless Go 2 system after the 4th microphone clip broke - the RODE replacement microphone was the same price as the entire SYNCO device and communications with RODE for what seems like a product design issue were met with silence. The SYNCO clip is much more rugged (and the magnetic clip is surprisingly useful). The only quibble (minor) is that the Receiver times out / powers down when the microphones are disconnected. Good practice when operating on battery but we keep our receiver powered up 24/7. A minor issue. Our staff is mostly non-technical so we have to make sure they know to turn the receiver on shortly before the class starts, but not too much in advance lest it time-out / power down. Recently purchased a second device for an adjacent studio - no sign of cross-talk / interference so far. Fingers crossed. Not sure who to believe (conflicting information, see below) but preliminary testing was fine - so we're hoping for the best! The website FAQ states: Yes, it is feasible to use three sets in one place. And it is advised to place each receiver 50cm to 1m away from each other to ensure proper working. A chat with tech support says: If you need to use two sets of microphones in the same space, it is recommended that the two sets of microphones be at least 10 meters apart. ... show more

    • [UPDATED] From 3 to 5. So I don’t know if I just got a faulty set or what, but...

(UPDATE 1: Synco has gotten in touch. They responded very quickly and courteously and have offered to work with me to help remedy this. Will keep you updated.) (UPDATE 2: Synco has advised that I may have received a defective unit, which happens, so they'll be sending a replacement. Will see if issue persists.) (UPDATE 3: So I've been using the replacement set for about a year and it has had no issues, none of the issues I had before and nothing else. They've worked wonders in cold conditions, warm conditions, and all conditions in between. I'm now super happy with this set and will certainly consider getting another from Synco if I ever needed to.) So I don’t know if I just got a faulty set or what, but a few things here: A. The battery dies very quickly. I’m not joking, I took them off the charger, fully charged, used them for 20 minutes and the transmitter and receiver both showed at half. B. I cannot for the life of me get rid of an electrical sounding interference noise when using the wireless packs without a wired lapel mic plugged in. I have tried all the TRS cables that came with it, the one for the tablet, the one for the camera, and even just my own aux cable. Nothing fixes it. I have tried several tests both into a camera (Sony A7iii) and into a dedicated audio recorder (Zoom H5). 1. When recording into the camera, I use the supplied cable from receiver into the input on my camera. I start my tests at Camera Audio Recording level 10 and 0 gain on the transmitter and incrementally go up on gain on transmitter. 2. When recording into the Zoom H5, I have the recorder gain level at 5 (out of 10), recording in 48/24. I have tried all tests with both just the wireless pack’s built in mic and the wired lapel mic plugged in. My best results come with the wired lapel mic plugged in. It’s at least clean enough to use with minimal post. But anything using the built in mic on the transmitter pack is basically unusable for anything even semi-pro. When recording into the Zoom H5, I just hear a loud electrical sounding noise. I don’t want to say a humm because that conjure up a traditional humm, this is more like a dog whistle frequency sound. Super high pitched. When recording into the Sony A7iii, I hear it as well, albeit not as loud, but that’s replaced by a low level static. This really is disappointing because I’ve read and seen some really good things about this set. I sold my Rode Wireless Go (1) and hoping these would replace it, but I may be regretting my decision. I’ll try a few more things, but so far I’m more than a bit hesitant to use these and may rent a pack to use for a job I have coming up next week. Anyhow, will update review if I figure out how to make these usable. ... show more

I have had these mics for a good while now and I have no complaints. The mics auto synchronize when you turn them on, you can plug them into your phone via usb C (Note this with directional cables), there is little to no noticeable latency. The sound quality is good even at this price point! The clips on the back of the devices are also magnetic, which gives you more options for mounting. Each comes with a small magnet as well. The clips also fit a cold shoe for mounting to a tripod or the top of a camera. The noise canceling option is fairly good, while the included wind filters help keep sibilance and plosives down. Distance is more than sufficient, keeping in mind their intended use. The customer support was great when I needed a replacement receiver after mine was damaged. I use this as a filmmaker and for the price, it's pretty good quality. I've used it with interviews and the audio is pretty crisp and clear. I did use it in a room that had a lot of constant background noise and that was pretty difficult but whatever the audio didn't cancel out could be toned down in post. I also like that there can be two devices recording sound and transmit to one device that can go directly to camera. I think it's a great affordable option. Unfortunately, one of the microphone wires did not work upon arrival but the one that did is great. There also don't need to have the wire with the microphone to record sound.
