Very happy with the light bulb. It makes my medium Nelson criss cross light SHINE. Some people insist Criss Cross light calls warm light bulb in 3000k, to give a mid-century vib, no, it is not my experience. As I used the warm light 3000k bulb first, the light made me sleepy, and dreary. I then used cool light 4000k bulbs, the light was still not bright enough, until I switched to this bulb....YAY! finally I have the brightness I have been looking for. The Nelson criss cross light itself, and the frost coating of this light bulb filter out any harshness, and give happy, bright light for the entire room. I love it. ... show more

I’ve gone old school and have returned to a kitchen ceiling light that uses “real” light bulbs as opposed to the recessed fixtures that use strips of little LED light chips. For some reason, that style of fixture has been a magnet for every lightning storm that passes through my area, and each & every time the entire fixture needs to be replaced. This is the last unit to be replaced. I was told it has something to do with the copper in the light (could be just speculation). At least moving forward, I should only need to replace the bulbs and I now have a few spares. To achieve the necessary brightness level with 60w, I needed the “daylight” option or 750 lumes for a more ‘white’ light vs ‘yellow’ light. Anyway, I am totally happy with my purchase. Overall, they’re a great value from an established brand that has been around for over 100 years. It’s all we had in the house when I was growing up. The bulbs fit, work, don’t flicker, and they brighten and illuminate the area as expected. The price was right, as was the shipping delivery date for an 8-pack. Technically, they are eco-friendly and with normal use should last 7 years. I’m just glad I will no longer have to replace an entire LED light fixture after every lightning storm since bulbs are cheaper. Picked up these Sylvania ECO LED bulbs expecting the soft warm glow you’d want for a living room or bedroom, but they fall short on both fronts. The light is not really soft — it has a slightly harsh quality to it that doesn’t feel as warm or cozy as other soft white bulbs I’ve used. Brightness is also underwhelming for a 100W equivalent. In a medium-size room with two of these in a ceiling fixture, it still feels dim. I ended up moving them to closets and the garage where output isn’t as critical. On the plus side, they were cheap, the pack of 6 is good value, and they fire up instantly with no warm-up time. Energy efficient as advertised and should last a long time based on the rating. If you need bulbs for low-traffic areas where lighting quality doesn’t matter much, these are fine. For main living spaces, I’d spend a little more on a better brand. ... show more
