I ordered this item because I decided I wanted my tv on a stand and not on the wall like I have it now. I ordered it in December I believe, but with the holidays and having recently moved into my home, I just put the stand together about a week and a half ago. I'm a woman and was able to put it together by myself, so assembly wasn't too bad. HOWEVER, when I got to the last shelf and took it out of its wrapping, I saw that the glass was scratched horribly. I tried wiping it to see if the scratches would get better but that didn't work. I didn't understand how it could have been scratched so badly because it looked like it was packaged ok. The only reason I could imagine it would have been scratched like that is if someone else had purchased it and returned it that way. Another issue I had was that the stand was shorter than I expected, even on the highest level. I ended up setting it up on the box that the stand came on and even then it seemed to not be high enough. I wanted to return the item but because I had taken so long to put it together, the date to return had passed. I sent a message to the buyer a day or so after I assembled the stand, but I have yet to hear back from them. I've enclosed a few pictures. You may or may not be able to see the scratches because of the reflection on the glass. Trust me though, it's not pretty. I now have to find items to put on top of the glass to cover the scratches.....lesson learned ... show more

I'm pleased with the weight of the unit, as well as how easy it was to put together. All of the bags are labeled and sealed separately, and the kit includes the tools necessary to assemble. It says you need a phillips screwdriver, but the allen wrench they provide can double up for one. Very few hiccups in understanding the instructions. I'm not usually real good about assembling things, but this one was doable. I'll warn you - it's 50 pounds. You may need a helper to lift it. It has a lot more shelf space than I anticipated. I have a 40-inch TV and it was perfect. Very satisfied with this purchase. ... show more

I like the super fast delivery, delivered way before promise date. Will update later on assembly of this stand. This stand is so beautiful n elegant looking. Shelves are of black glass n plastic parts. Had difficulty in assembling, but that's bc I'm not good with following instructions and putting together things. But I did it by myself. It just takes time to following the instructions that I've read over n over. Took me almost 3 hrs to put together, n im not done yet. Need to install the brackets now n load my 62" TV on the stand. I like how they provide everything, label all the parts n even include a cable wire to attach to your wall for extra protection in case your TV falls. This stand is very heavy, but it makes a huge n gorgeous difference in my living room. It looks awesome. Well made, sturdy and classy! ... show more

This stand is great. Classy-looking and easy to assemble. I wondered if it would fit my 65" Vizio and it did, with room to spare. I like the swivel feature. The assembly instructions were clear and the tools that you need are included with the hardware. Took about 30-45 minutes to assemble and mount the TV. The only complaint I had is that I thought a brace/restraint was included, because the image on the product page appeared to show one. What is included is an anti-tipping cable. Still, it would take quite an earthquake to topple this thing. It took about three weeks to ship it to me. This is a good product. ... show more

This TV stand is fairly easy to assemble (about an hour's work or less) and works as promised. My complaint is that the glass shelves are thinner than the ones in the picture on Amazon (see my photo). They are tempered glass and I'm sure they are strong enough, but they look less substantial than those in the Amazon photo. Moreover, the metal pillars are a glossy black, not the matte black I had expected from the picture and would have preferred. In sum, while functional, the TV stand just looks cheaper than the one pictured on Amazon. ... show more

I needed a small footprint corner TV stand and this works perfectly! I didn't install the glass shelves correctly and I didn't care by the time I was done putting it together. It wasn't difficult but I didn't want to do it a second time. The stand looks great but the size of the TV will dictate how far back into the corner the stand will fit. I have a 55" Samsung on it. The mount seems sturdy but I don't move the stand around a lot and haven't used the swivel and tilt features (I'm more set it and forget it). The price was right and it fits my need. ... show more

    • Decent stand but a couple of flaws
This stand fit perfectly in the corner of the room. Will serve it's purpose just fine. A couple of issues that I ran into: 1- The glass top had a few scratches straight out of the box. I decided this was something that could be overlooked as we will put something on the top to cover it up. 2- During assembly, the top pillar piece was actually missing. I realized this after almost having the unit fully put together. Instead there was an extra lower pillar section with the hole in it for the wires. Managed to cut this piece to size with a hacksaw and incorporate it to work for the top pillar section. In the end, I will be able to use the stand and live with the imperfections. ... show more

My tv is 80lbs, well below the max weight. Screen tilts down from its own weight and if you swing the tv left or right, the entire stand wobbles. Would be great if it felt more solid
