Heavy duty mount easy to install with a modification. The mounting plate holes are over 3" apart and a standard wall stud is only 1-1/2" wide, therefore only able to get 2 screws into a stud. I cut a 3/4" board the size of the mounting plate, and attached to the wall with 3" deck screws into the wall stud flush on top of my 3/4"x8' board holding my lawn and garden tools. When installing the mounting plate 2 screws went through the mounting plate, the board, and into the wall stud, the other 2 screws into my added 3/4" board and drywall. Final result, the mounting plate is attached to a 3/4" board and to a wall stud on top of a 8' foot long 3/4" board that's attached to 6 wall studs. I purchased a hummer h16 bike for my 3yro grandson and got this mount to hang on the wall, which is heavy yet easy to take down when he visits, and remount when he leaves. Heavy duty mount that saves space, I only had to reposition 1 garden tool to hang this mount.

Was easy to install and holds my big bike without any issues. I do wish that the tire guards (that prevent the tires from scratching the wall) were bigger for bikes with fatter tired, but it works well enough.

If you are placing in drywall, always make sure you have a stud! This swivel bike rack is super sturdy when mounted and is made of all metal. The quality and the ability to swivel set this apart from other normal wall racks. I recommend.

The swivel feature and the retaining block for the rear wheel are what make this item different. I have a setup where the bike needs to be rotated closer to the wall for storage. The top hanger swivel allows me to do that and save room in the garage. I'm glad the rear wheel doesn't contact the wall because it would leave dirt and marks. This is a well thought out rack.

Installing this wall-rack was fairly easy, the instructions had only a few steps. I was then able to angle it to the side, allowing me to fit the bike in a space it otherwise would not fit into. The wall-mounting hardware was also excellent quality as well. I was surprised the screws-heads didn't strip at all considering I didn't pre-drill and used my impact driver.
