Bought this thinking it would be great, especially the lit edge to guide the cut. Well it didn't work out. The guide light does NOT show exactly where the cut takes place - which I expected based on the ad. Ad the cutter itself is flimsy. Plus when cutting one sheet and trimming a tiny bit off it bends the paper rather than cutting. My mistake for giving this multiple chances to prove itself...now I can't return it. I would return and NOT buy this again. Cutting several pages was not very effective either, I think it's a fail ... show more

The guillotine is very light weight, too light, in fact, to lift the blade, without lifting the entire piece off the table. When attempting to cut material, it would start cutting just fine, and halfway through, would just bend the material down, ripping off the partially cut area, leaving the rest of theaterial I would like to have cut off. The "glowing guide" is a gimic, and doesn't illuminate enough to do much if anything, for me. Seeing if I can return this, as it is useless for me. ... show more

I bought one and returned it because it was not cutting all the way through the paper. I opted to get a replacement - same thing happened. The one I had purchased was the deluxe one with the light - junk! Sending the second one back and getting a refund!

I can't recommend this. It does not cut cleanly, as shown in the photo. Also, the switch didn't work so the LED light wouldn't turn off. I returned it and bought another brand.

Doesn’t cut cleanly whether it’s 1 standard sheet, 5, or even different weights of card stock. I don’t recommend if you need a clean cut. If only I had kept the packaging.
