Purchased this as an addition to my daughters swing set. Upon arriving, I could tell just by the look and feel (weight) that this was a good quality item. Installed easily in only a few minutes with basic tools, it's a big hit with the kids. Smooth handles and trap bar are easy on little hands, but durable enough to support dad's weight with no problem. I've had nothing but success (so far) with swing and slide products. I put it together and up myself it is extremely easy to put on, I removed a swing and put this up for my child "monkey" and he enjoys it! I can even hang on it because it is very durable. I bought a swing set at wal mart that came with 3 swings, so I removed one and added this. It is easy to make short or long. I have had a 1.5 year old and a 3 year old hanging on it. For the price this is a good swingset/play yard addition. However my first disappointment is the chain gauge. Much smaller chain hole and lighter weight quality when compared to that of swings etc. Difficult, although possible, to fit our existing cantilever clips through to attach to the swing set. Also the chain covering is blue. no big deal. but I thought it was green. maybe I missed that in the description or something but all our play yard is green / yellow combo. It's a fine trapeze ring combo, but just be aware it is not heavy duty gauge metal like what i have on my other swing set items. ... show more

Great little combo. I bought it for kids ages 6 through 10 and they love it. It's a great boredom cure, plus it tones their muscles. Awesome. The bar itself costs the same, might as well get it with the removable rings. This set comes with 4 detachable connections, and if you put it together right, you will not need to buy any extra. I have modified a zipline trolley to carry this ring and trap combo. The kids are never far off the ground so I would rather give them multiple ways to grab onto something and make the zipline more fun, for a longer period of time. Plus, holding on to these things means the rider doesn't turn around and land backwards. Not really a safety matter, just more pleasant to ride facing forward. And, so far, it's enjoyable and a quality product. The chains are metal, the crossbar is metal, but the rings are plastic. To see how strong they were I hung on them in the basement during assembly. They supported my weight (200 lbs) but I didn't test it for long. No need to press my luck. ... show more

The ring and trapeze are as they appear and they are hanging sturdily from my orange tree, but there is a rusty goo that is always leaking out of the joints and I don't trust it as safe so I don't let my toddler use it much and when she does I make her wash her hands right away.

This is a great deal. It is made of good quality and its easy to install. It comes with large hooks that are easy to use. I recommend using a wrench or pliers to tighten them down though once you install them so kids cant take them off. Tip: Don't put the bar like it is shown in the picture. Instead, put it on the other end of the chains. This way, if your kids want to use the bar, you can just unhook the chains and flip it over. It makes it easier so you dont have to unscrew the hooks. ... show more
