I'm not a swimming expert and my experience with kickboards is limited to grade school swimming lessons. But I like to research things with the goal of buying the best affordable option. What I thought I wanted was a kickboard that would support me while I swim laps. What I got was not just that, but an incredibly versatile tool. Yes- this kickboard does exactly what I hoped it would do- it is comfortable while I swim laps for long periods. But the unique shape and buoyancy seems endlessly helpful; I can put it under my back and float without any effort- so relaxing on the lake. I can sit on it if I want a break and feel like chilling in the water and chatting with a friend. I can hold it on my chest while on my back and do leg work. The possibilities seem endless. I am in love with this kickboard; it is so much more than I hoped for.

I use this in a swimming pool for rehab exercise. The arm rest grooves do make it more comfortable on my shoulders, and it can be positioned far out or partially under my body. I'm deducting a star because, no matter what position I'm in, my neck gets stiff and uncomfortable. Otherwise, it works very well.

This board is awesome. Well worth the extra cost compared to straight boards. Gives your shoulders a recovery day without missing cardio and legs in pool. With your swim snorkel and goggle, no neck strain whatsoever. What a fine piece of training equipment

Way better than my rectangle kick board. This board really does make your upper body realxed while doing your kicking excersise in the pool. It supported me no problem im 358lbs and 6'.

Well designed kick board. I am getting back into swimming and needed a new kickboard. This stood out for its ergonomic properties. It has made a big difference in the pool - very comfortable. Now discomfort is not the limiting factor for kicking drills. Very solid and well made.

Bought for my husband to exercise in pool. I took it over and love it. You can use it for different exercises and put your whole upper body on it. I’m very pleased with it (my husband never got the chance to use it)

This is a neat looking device and is well made and sturdy. I was very excited to get it because I have just started going to a gym to build strength and just get some good low resistance exercise in the lap pool. Before buying this item I read in reviews and info that it will still work well if you want to use it with your face above water, which is what I needed it for. Here's the problem. When I push off and then kick like mad, I can go only as far as my initial push off will get me, then I'm as dead in the water as a rowboat without oars. It makes no matter whatsoever how hard I kick and or which kick style I use, going anywhere is not an option. It feel pretty silly to get 1/4 of the way down the lane and then just sit there kicking up a storm and not moving at all. My kids teased me about needing either a motor or a tow. They (two healthy adult kids) tried it with exactly the same results. If you put your face in the water you can propel along fairly well, but do NOT buy this if you want to use it with your face above water - unless you want to just sit there in neutral while you kick like mad.
