I use this handheld sewing machine mainly to fix small things for my daughter’s clothes at home. It comes with a few simple tools, like a small pair of scissors, a soft tape measure, and several spools of thread that are already wound and ready to click onto the machine. The first time I used it, I hemmed the bottom of her pants because they were a bit too long, and later, when she grew taller, I could let the hem out again without starting from zero. The machine is light to hold, and the stitches come out fairly straight as long as I keep the fabric pulled tight with my other hand. It does better on thin to medium fabric. The buttons and threading path are simple enough that I could figure it out in one evening, and now I keep it in the kitchen drawer for quick fixes.

This thing is loud! Louder than I thought! Caught me off guard! I’m still adjusting to it but it serves its purpose and is pretty useful. I’m not sure how I feel about the overall quality of it. Doesn’t look like it will last long based on how powerful it is vs the material it is made out of. It would be nice if I could get at least a year out of it. Especially since I don’t see myself using it frequently. But I do like the portability and convenience of it. Came with a good amount of supplies too which was a nice plus!

This little sewing machine is surprisingly useful. I used it to quickly fix a tear on a shirt and even hem a pair of pants without pulling out my big machine. It’s small and lightweight, so I can carry it from room to room or even pack it for travel. It’s easy to operate once you get the hang of it. At first, I struggled a bit with keeping the fabric steady, but after a few tries, the stitches came out neat and even.
