I first bought an Omax but was disappointed by the poor quality of lenses (they were really dirty too!). The lenses on the Swift are far superior and the binoculars seemed easier to adjust than the Omax. I haven’t tried the camera yet but I’m hoping that’s better than the Omax one as well.

Simply disappointed. The positive: The microscope was well packaged and very sturdy, the camera isn't the best but quite OK. Negative: The camera connection (USB) is faulty (camera switches on and off).Software was on a USB Stick and is OK -Less features . When I used the microscope for the first time, I saw so many shavings inside the device that I had to spend 2-3 hours cleaning everything (very cheap production). Up to 400x zoom, only the center was in focus (40% of the field of view was OK, the remaining 60% was very blurry, and metal shavings were still visible). 1000x and higher magnification didn't work (nothing could be seen or recognized), not even with the included oil (here you only saw more and more metal shavings and other dirt). And attaching and removing the camera is completely annoying. In my opinion, the price of $300 is far too much for this device (considering the quality). It should be no more than $120-150. The device instructions are not helpful. They only contain information about the device and accessories, not about how to use it... very unprofessional (Made in China). I'm sending it back.

muy útil para laboratorio , la óptica es muy buena , imagenes muy limpia , la camara solo enfocate solamente el centro del campo y entre la camara de 1.3 y la de 5 no hay ninguna diferencia . triste. pero en general es muy buen equipo muy buen material

The first microscope never arrived, so they offered a refund or another microscope. I really needed a microscope so I asked them to send a microscope instead of a refund. The microscope finally arrived. It was perfect, had no issue with the microscope itself, except the company doesn't make darkfield condensers. A representative recommended to buy a condenser from another company so I did. It turned out that the recommended condenser couldn't be changed due to the AmScopebuild. I finally opted for a refund after 2 weeks of having the microscope, which they received almost immediately no problem. I really liked the microscope but I had no choice because I NEEDED the condenser. I returned the microscope in perfect condition, even went out of my way to bubble wrap it to make sure they received it in perfect condition. It's been a month and haven't seen my refund. I've contacted the company 3 times because on Amazon tracking, it says they can't refund me, but the representatives keep giving me the runaround saying they'll refund me in a few days. A few days turned into them saying in 2 weeks, and yet nothing has happened.

I bought this for my son, and we were excited to see few interesting micro biological specimen, but quality of magnification was too bad, also there was play in specimen bed. I returned this item and due to this bad experience, couldn't dare to get replacement. I asked for refund. Don't recommend this, Celestron Microscope is better option I bought.

In first picture, I was using the camera on my phone, however, the pictures of the blood cells and the sunflower pollen were taken using the camera that comes with the microscope. It's amazing! It had a small learning curve when I first started to use it but it was quite easy to become adept in using the microscope. I'm planning on using this in my kindergarten class where we look at different slides, then the students try to guess what is being magnified. This weekend, I have thoroughly enjoyed using this microscope. It has made me more curious about the microscopic world. I'm enjoying finding things in my fridge and in my garden to look at. For the price of the microscope I find that it does an incredible job. This microscope does exactly what is advertised. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone that's interested in purchasing a microscope for either school or for personal use.
