I was nervous about buying a mattress in a box, but this one is incredible. It expanded quickly, had no weird smell, and the plush memory foam is heavenly. I sleep on my side, and this mattress relieves pressure on my hips and shoulders without feeling too soft. IF YOU ARE A STOMACH SLEEPER DO NO BUY THIS MATRESS! I can confidently say that it has completely changed my sleeping experience! It has no unpleasant smell when opened. The springs don't make any noise and provide good support! It functions perfectly and I can highly recommend it! I was able to handle it myself without any problems, which made the installation process a breeze. *update* amazon customer service helped me to contact the company and address the issue. I allowed this mattress to rise over the 24-72 hour recommended time. After that time I tested out the mattress and it felt very plush but also, too plush. Upon measuring it, I was sent a 10” mattress. I ordered a 12” mattress. It is a decent mattress for a camper or something, but unfortunately I received an incorrect product for what I ordered. I hope that it is not a case of false advertising. ... show more

The mattress does not expand correctly. It does not measure 12 inches. It is folded in half after it is compacted flat therefore, there is no way to get it back in the box. However, Amazon has attempted to resolve this issue but no agreement was reached as to a return due to the hoops that I have to jump through just for them to come and get the mattress. Then I have to wait a whole week for them to come and pick it up and then they want to give me a gift card which is okay if I wish to buy another mattress in a box because I will still be without a mattress. ... show more

Very disappointed one half of the bed didn’t expand as much as the other half supposed to be 12 inches 9 1/2 to 9 3/4 at best no firmness at all been out for over 24 hours when the pictures were taken.
