I got two of these mattresses along with a foldable frame. When I have one guest, I stack both mattresses on top of the bed frame. Once you have a mattress pad and sheet on them, you can’t really tell it’s any different from one normal mattress. Just had my first guest since buying this setup for a five night stay and she said it was comfortable. I also used them separately, both mattresses on the floor, when my teenager had a sleepover. In that case the users were 14 year olds so I can’t vouch yet for how comfortable an adult would find them, but the kids didn’t complain. The flexibility to use them together on the bed frame or separately on the floor is the main reason I bought two of these instead of one regular mattress, so I’m happy with them. They are quite large even folded up, so you do have to make sure you have space to store them if you’re not intending to keep them out full time. ... show more

Very soft and comfortable, and the thickness is as advertised. The case fits well and I like that the cover is washable but I wonder how well it will hold up. Upon opening it and laying on it, I found a snag with loose thread. I don't know if it was there out of the box or if it happened when I was laying on it. I did a LOT of research prior to making this purchase, and I'm so glad I did. I ordered two of these 6" trifold mattresses so that they could be used separately or placed side-by-side to form a king. The items came vacuum-packed in a tight roll (each within a cardboard box). To our surprise they were ready for use that very evening. SO comfy and so well made! I would call these medium-firm - comfy for back, side, and even stomach sleepers. I did not feel the trifold creases while laying down. We will be able to welcome guests, knowing they will be able to sleep comfortably, and then fold these up and put them away when not in use. Do keep in mind that these 6" mattresses fold up to be 18" so make sure you have a dedicated space for storage when not in use. No regrets - highly recommended! ... show more

The pros: This is very soft, and it's wide enough for a large adult to sleep on. The cons: because it's so soft its 4" height isn't enough to support my 170 lb body when thrown on a bare wooden floor. I have to add another 1" foam layer on top for enough support, then it's fine. -I think it's more suitable for someone under 140 lbs, or it'd be great to throw on top of a regular mattress that is too firm since it's so soft and comfy. ... show more

I used this mattress in my guest room. It folds easily and saves space. It comes with a cover for storage, which is handy. I like it because it’s medium firm and not too heavy to carry. It feels cool and breathable. I would say it is a good option for an extra backup bed!
