There was some descriptive information on the package, the most glaring being that it was made in China. Upon opening Upon opening and inspecting, I immediately was surprised to find the mattress protector to be housed in a similarly sized [as the package] zipper closure enclosed clear heavy duty plastic case. I appreciated that, as I had the impression that the integrity of the mattress protector [cleanliness] was maintained, from factory to me. Further surprise What further surprised me was the retail like label that Boldy announced this was a “Premium Bamboo Mattress Protector.” When selecting this, I thought it was going to be a synthetic based protector, rather than something that at least grew, i.e., bamboo. So, such was a positive surprise. Surprises continue, texture I unzipped the case and felt the protector. Wow! Soft. Incredibly soft! A big positive. Noises? No crackling, just the quiet noise an all-cotton sheet makes. It’s incredible. Soft and quiet. Huge positive. Care instructions It’s a tad complicated but can be done. For instance, low heat on the dryer and no dryer balls surprised me, as I use them. No explanation why dryer balls cannot be used. I can understand about the low heat. It is machine washable and does so wonderfully, no complications on that side, I use cool water. BPA free So says the label. Made from? Polyester and Bamboo viscose The big question, spills, and such? So far, it is protecting the ridiculously expensive mattress that I have that our children, who are still in diapers, insist on sleeping on with us. Breathability Passes. I do “not” feel like I am sleeping on a plastic bag. Thickness Not overly, so the pad is not interfering with the wonderful pillow like mattress top I have, while giving me peace of mind that a diaper leak will seep through. Fit & Finish Not a thread out of place and no seam left undone, or looking like a drunk sewed it. The Finish gives me the impression, real or imagined, of being perfect. Value? Compared to my three (3) figure mattress pad that I presently have; this offers bargain basement value at an incredibly reasonable price. Fitted mattress. This is a top-down mattress pad, not one that encases the mattress, which I am okay with. My mattress is very tall, this easily fits, with room up to 21” sizes and great pockets that easily maintain the protector’s position. Allergic reactions? None for us. Country of origin Made in China Customer service No address, there is a [California] telephone number and an e-mail address, however. No warranty information was noted. Anything negative? Not really. I love bamboo products and this mattress protector is a great one! The fabric is stretchy and airy and the elastic deep pocket sides stretch completely around my queen mattress with ease, and it stays put underneath a fitted sheet with no bunching or coming off of any of the corners throughout the night. The waterproof liner inside is soft and quiet, so this protector would be a great choice for anyone who moves around a lot in their sleep as there is no distracting noise as there usually is with thicker plastic lined protectors. I ordered this mattress protector solely to protect my expensive mattress from dust and stains - this waterproof liner is perfect to use for this purpose, but I wouldn't recommend this protector if you're looking for one to help protect your mattress from excessive bedwetting as it's likely too thin to protect thoroughly from larger volumes of liquid that aren't caught or cleaned up quickly. If you are looking for a cost effective mattress protector to keep your bed mattress clean and looking brand new, this one is a fantastic choice!

Quality bamboo product - which pretty much sums up the product. I struggle at times to figure out what a potential customer would need to know about a product I am reviewing. The product is as described by the manufacturer, so do I go over everything you can find in the product description to pad the words in my review, nah. What I can say is that the product washes and drys well, no bunching, pilling, or shrinkage after two wash/use cycles. It fits quite well and is hardly noticeable unlike so many others in this product category. No extra crinkling noise either. We did have one minor water spill and it kept the mattress dry, no problems there. I can definitely recommend this product as a good purchase.

This is 70percent bamboo and stretches nicely to fit our oversized mattress. Is as advertised as far as spills go. It breathes nicely and is very well made. Great product overall and a good price point.

This does exactly as described. It protects my mattress. So far I have had a few accidents with kids wetting the bed and this has protected the mattress great. It goes on and off just like a fitted sheet and fits nicely on my bed. Not too loose and I don’t have to stretch it to get it to fit. The material feels nice and does not irritate my skin. It has cleaned off in the washing machine great and doesn’t show any immediate signs of shrinking or wearing down quickly. Great mattress protector that gets the job done!

I got this mattress pad for my grandkids beds as they still have an occasional accident. I am very impressed with the quality of this mattress pad. It is very well made and is very soft. The corners are very stretchy and easily covers my granddaughter's mattress which is very deep! It is comfortable to sleep on and is very breathable. This is a quality mattress pad at a great price and I highly recommend it!

This mattress protector is a great improvement over the deteriorating plastic one I had protecting the expensive mattress in my RV. It provides protection against spills and feared roof leaks, while still being comfortable and without the annoying crinkling noises of a typical vinyl/plastic mattress protector cover. Quality seems excellent and it held up perfectly in an initial machine wash. It fits very well, and stays in place with plenty of elastic side material to accomodate the tallest of mattresses. No complaints.

This fits perfect on my full mattress in my spare room. Luckily I haven't had to test the waterproof portion yet but based on the material I believe it will work as intended. It feels fairly solid for a mattress cover and I have had some issues with others and it is also soft and not "plasticy" like some other brands.
