The Sweetcrispy fabric rocking chair is a cozy, fleece covered rocking chair perfect for a living room, office, or nursery. The fleece covering is soft and the rocker is quiet and smooth. The instructions were clear but the holes did not line up well and the assembly was difficult. It took about 30 minutes to assemble. It would be nice if the back came up a little higher to support the neck. Overall, this is a nice chair to cozy up in and read a book. Three and 1/2 stars rounded up to 4.

I was so excited when I took this out of the box because there were only six pieces. I thought I was going to be the easiest assembly ever. Yeah…no. The very first instruction, and deceptively the simplest, is to put the seat and back together. The pegs should just slide into the holes. Right. This is a two person job because once you get one peg in the other won’t line up. You have to squeeze the arms of the seat together while another person wrestles the back into position. Fortunately once that is done the rest of assembly goes quickly and smoothly. Heads up, the instructions show the bottom assembly with the front of the chair facing up. Do yourself a favor and flip it so the front is facing down, it’s much easier. Particularly when putting the rockers on. The chair itself is great, I love the fleecy fabric, it’s warm and soft and the chair can be placed close to a wall without hitting it when you rock back. The seat is stuffed firmly so you don’t sink into it or anything, I was a little surprised that it feels harder than it looks. But it’s a cozy chair and I’m looking forward to time spent rocking and reading. I’m past this stage but it would be a good chair for rocking babies in, there are no hard edges and there are little feet at the back of the rockers so you don’t go too far. Once I got it together I have been pleased with it. It kind of feels like a favorite teddy bear.
