I like that the top is big enough and strong enough to hold the file tray that I use to hold important papers and planner items. That tray can get heavy, and it was too much for the big plastic 3 drawer storage unit I was currently using. It actually made the plastic top buckle. Almost everything I had in that storage unit I was able to put in this file cabinet. The screw holes were a pain... I had to purchase an electric drill, because my palms grew sore from trying to turn the screwdriver to get the screws in. I will say that everything that was supposed to come with the cabinet was provided and properly labeled, including a screwdriver. I thought it would be better to watch the video that is provided for putting the cabinet together - DO NOT WATCH THAT VIDEO, for putting parts 2,3, and 4 together. Follow the booklet! The boards that go in for the bottom of the drawers are somewhat flimsy, not sturdy enough for holding much. Could not get the screw to go all the way in (with the electric drill), for the bottom drawer track. It sticks out a bit, so the track doesn't close flush, the drawer doesn't close all the way (there's a small gap); and the dowel, and the door do not stay together on the left side; I'm always having to tighten the eccentric wheel. When I saw this, it had a 5-star rating, which is why I purchased it, after reading the reviews, which were good...I gave the cabinet 4 stars because, it is doing the job I purchased it for (as I said, so far), which was to hold my filing tray and I also have additional room that I didn't have with the other storage unit. I also like the wood finish; overall, it's nice looking and I'm happy with it.

I highly recommend this cabinet! I bought 2 for our new office and my coworker and I had no problem putting them together. The instructions are very clear and nothing was missing. The drawers all open easily. The unit is sturdy and seems like it should last a long time. Don't be afraid to get one; you won't be sorry.

https://www.amazon.com/ap/signin Put whole thing together and the drawers would not close right. The pilot holes that were made were off . You don't know this until it's all put together. Horrible product. Would like my money and protection plan refunded!

The media could not be loaded. The only thing wrong is the wood. This portion shown in the video is the top of the bottom drawer on the right side which has no screw placement and it came like it’s shown. It’s lifting and coming apart.

Once assembled, this small file cabinet/ desk is very sturdy and holds up well to normal weight requirements, such as a desktop printer. It’s a very nice size for a smaller space. The drawers all fit together well and close securely. The back of the cabinet has two decent sized holes to use for wires, and each hole has a rubber gasket so that you will have a nice clean appearance. I’m a fairly handy guy who never shies away from assembly; but this was a very time consuming job. It took me over two hours to completely put it together. The instructions were adequate, but there were many detailed steps. My two hours included zero flubs ( putting something together wrong and needing to redo it). So make sure you have an adequate space to lay the parts out, have a lot of patience and turn on some nice music! Also, decide before hand which of the two sizes you want for the file drawer hanging folder because the wire guides do not easily come out if you want to change sizes.

This is a wonderful set of drawers. The fabric drawers are quite nice and not heavy at all. We have used ours to store blankets and shoes by the front door.
