Stylish Cabinet to Organize my Home Office
Color: Black
Style: Modern
I finally decided to treat myself to a new storage and filing cabinet after cramming everything into a small 2 drawer cabinet for decades. I am tiptoeing into the "real furniture" phase of life and need things to be good value, look good, and serve multiple functions. This cabinet hits on all of those marks, it fits all my files and my printer fits on top perfectly. Assembly This took some time and space to assemble, I took over the entire dining room floor for this project so I could lay all the pieces out. I'm also glad I read the comments from other people before I started, especially about not overtightening screws until the end. Overall it took me most of an evening and a few hours the next morning to get this finished, but two people could have done it a lot faster. The part that gave me the most trouble was anchoring down the top plank and getting it to snug up to the base, I got frustrated enough that I gave up and went to bed. Once I looked at it with fresh eyes and brains it finally connected. Everything lined up it was like zipping a zipper and fell into place instantly. It was smooth sailing after that and aside from that the instructions were clear and easy to follow if you are familiar with flat-pack furniture.

The printer stand arrive extremely well packaged!! This ensured there was not any damage during shipping. All of the parts were clearly identified which made assembly easy. It fits my printer, lamp and accessories very nicely. It seems very sturdy and the wheels are a plus! Love the file drawer and cabinet space. Great value!

Nice unit Nice unit
Color: Rustic Brown
Style: Modern
Sturdy 100 lb plus unit which looks nice in my home office under the window. But the assembly directions are not easy to understand. It took two of us a whole day to put it together and a third of the time was spent redoing the assembly after rereading the directions a third time. A 4 volt small screw driver is a big help for the screws. The unit is attractive after assembled.

Good product and good customer service
Color: Rustic Brown
Style: Modern
The drawer file cabinet arrived with one broken part but the Devaise customer service send the part within 25 days of reporting it from China. The instructions are confusing but not so bad that you can't figure them out. Each one of the pieces use in the assembly of the file cabinet is illustrated on the first page of the instructions, these parts came mixed in baggies labeled with multiple stickers with letters for identification. The how to assemble pictures on the instructions are their saving grace, but there are no words to guide you, and some pictures were small for me to see well, needed help every so often to differentiate what was what.

It's what I needed It's what I needed
Color: Rustic Brown

I gave it 5 stars, but it's not perfect. Though, I still feel that it deserves the rating. If you dont take your time and carefully follow the instructions, it will turn onto a nightmare. Also, save yourself a LOT of time and use a power screwdriver (or a drill set on low). Even so, it still took me over an hour (less that two) to put this together. I'm no novice at this, but I knew going in it was going to be time consuming (per other reviews) since it comes completely flat. It's a veneered MDF and so far the veneer has held up nicely. There were places where it chipped but that was not visible. I could see where breaking/chipping could occur on the locking disk things (honestly don't remember what they're called) if they get over-tightened. You can set hanging folders in the drawer in a left to right setup, front to back or a mix of the 2. The drawer pulls out very far, so if you go front to back, the rearmost files can still be accessed. It fits my all-in-one on top very nicely and I still have plenty of room for other items. The front faces match my desk, which was the main draw to this. It is very sturdy and has minimal jiggle when I shake it. I am very happy with my purchase.

Take your time and it will reward you
Color: Rustic Brown
Style: Modern
This product was purchased for a home office. It arrived quickly. I unpacked the box, read instructions up front, organized all of the parts and got started. They recommended two people to assemble but I managed to assemble it alone. Take your time and read instructions and be patient with process. It took me about 3 hours from start to finish. It is worth the effort. The product is sturdy and it will serve my purpose quite nicely.

DON'T BUY THIS. Nightmare build. DON'T BUY THIS. Nightmare build.
Color: Rustic Brown

Oh where do I start? The cam locks don't work correctly. It says in the instructions that there has to be a bit of a gap. It's impossible to keep every gap the same . Nothing will go in straight with the way the holes are pre drilled. I've literally screwed and unscrewed, examined, inspected etc almost every screw I put in, and no matter what I did at what angle, they're all crooked. I gave up on the hinge for the door, I worked on it for over an hour trying to get it to line up properly. All I have for my efforts is a loose hinge and sawdust. It's wobbly. Half the baggies weren't labeled. I can't explain how bad this is. Just go on marketplace and buy a used stand. The only pro is lots of extra screws, cams, etc. in case you lose one.

Affordable and functional
Color: Black

The good: it arrived intact, no damage to the box or the wood pieces inside, with all parts and directions. It was a bit heavy, which is to be expected I guess. Now that it’s assembled, I’d say it looks good. Not great, but good. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. All pieces were present and seemed to go together properly. MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE TWO WHEELS WITH BRAKES ON THE FRONT OF THE UNIT. They are not marked in any way and it’s easy not to realize two of the five are different. The soft close hinges are a surprising and nice touch. The meh: there are a lot of pieces. Many pieces of wood, plastic, metal, lots and lots of screws, dowels, and thingamajigs of varying sizes. Do yourself a favor, lay out all the bags of parts and do not dump them out, pick them one at a time from the bags as needed. It takes a lot of space to assemble this one. You need a large, relatively empty room, or maybe outside with a drop cloth down to protect the finish. Medium sturdiness and build quality. It feels like if you don’t roll it too much or use it super heavily it should last indefinitely. On the other hand it feels like one trip in a moving van would probably do it in. The ugly: this is not my first rodeo. I recently helped my sister assemble a whole bedroom of flat pack furniture. This file cabinet took 2:42 to assemble. Yes, I said nearly THREE HOURS. There are so many screws y’all. So many. In the time it took to put this together I had helped my sister assemble the entire room of furniture AND stopped to eat lunch. This will take a while - clear your calendar, and maybe fix a drink beforehand. You’ll need it. And you have to be careful - the little metal cam lock posts are very difficult to screw in straight without cracking the particleboard. Probably the biggest flaw is the back. On most flat pack furniture of…shall we say…a Swedish background…the back is nailed on all the way around the outside of the frame to give the whole thing much more stability. This one has the back slide in, and in two pieces. It’s held in grooves, not attached to anything. So there is very little stability. You can probably set something moderately heavy on top but if it’s subject to any lateral load it’s not gonna last long. Rolling it around with something heavy on top is probably a bad idea. So, am I happy? Sorta. It’s definitely affordable, looks okay, and will be a big improvement over piles of paper on the floor. But I probably would have aimed for something higher quality if it weren’t 2022, the year that everything is out of stock. But this one does have a certain ineffable quality now: that of doneness. Now where’s that drink?A
