I've assembled about 10 different types os storage units lately as part of a closet remodel and this one had the easiest best instructions. All pieces were included and every single piece was labeled. It's time consuming to put together, but if you have a screw gun, it will help tremendously. I can't stress enough how easy this was to assemble as compared to the other pieces I've put together. It looks great and is very functional.

i initially purchased the seven drawer from the same seller, and I loved it so much that I decided to buy four more of them but the five drawer unit and so I got one of them and I built it. Everything was fine then I got the second one and third one completely fine.the process I’ve done so many times that it was just easy to build it but then I got the fourth one the box looked the same however i noticed there was different hardware and the pieces that make the drawer had stickers on the areas where you could see it whereas on the other versions, the stickers would be hidden i didn’t think much about it. and so I go on and build it and I put just the dresser without the drawers next to the other dressers and it looks off it’s a different size and I got upset but then I was over it because like it’s just something that you don’t notice unless you’re like really picky about it and then I built the drawers and they wouldn’t fit into the dresser and I was like Maybe it was my fault because I remember seeing other reviews about how the screws need to be in seamless and I did this over and over again for so many of the screws and it was so annoying because for this version the holes weren’t even holes or pre-drilled It was literally just like it made the process so much harder and then eventually I am stuck with one of the screws for the drawer I had to dispose the original screw and I put a new one and I’m like I hope this fits in perfectly but it doesn’t it’s not seamless and because it’s not seamless the drawer isn’t going in so I keep trying to reposition it and I got to the point where literally the cross became a hole and I couldn’t remove it so I was sad I was like OK maybe that one is going to be the only bad no it was like that for all of the drawers like all of them did not fit and I was like well I have the other same units let me just take out the drawers from the older dressers (older as in one week older) let me put them in this unit, and they would glide in perfectly right and I was like let me put the new drawers into the old dresser, and it would glide perfectly and I was like well. I tried my best with the screws looks seamless and it’s not working, and then I noticed that the metal of the side of the door is too long for it so now it’s unbalanced I contact customer service from Amazon. It’s a whole nightmare. They disconnect my chat and then I have to call them and I had to be referred to so many people and they were like well. We can’t do anything about this. You just have to return it, which is reasonable , but it’s the fact that the hardware was so awful. They downgraded or changed manufacturer from the other dressers that it is kind of ruined parts of the dresser, and from that upon further inspection as it because I was so stressed about building this thing it was just an awful nightmare I noticed the dresser was such an awful condition like there were scuffs and marks brown marks everywhere so I was like OK let me clean it and I wipe it down. I try to scrape it off. No it’s just like that so it’s not even a white dresser it’s just a white dresser with marks, and it looks visible compared to the other ones. I’m so pissed because Amazon couldn’t help me with this like for one when I ordered the two previous dressers which actually were supposed to be the third and fourth dresser I only received the third one. Apparently the manufacturer forgot to send me the fourth one and so then I had to order one two days after that and that one that I ordered is the one that I’m having issues with right now I don’t know what it is but this item just ended up giving me bad luck and I’m so pissed. i’m sorry this kind of sounds like jargon, i used siri to write this

It was smaller than I expected even after looking at other reviews but once I finished putting it together it worked perfectly as a dresser, it holds even my bulkier sweatpants pretty well. That said, putting it together was an ordeal as the screw holes for the drawer sliders were crooked so I had to redrill them, if you didn’t align the screws properly the first time, then it would be hell getting them out because the screw heads would be completely stripped. I went through my entire tool box before I just went at it with a drill and it was forceful enough to make the screw realign to sit flush. Thankfully the unit comes with extra screws. Be careful though, as the white veneer is very thin and comes apart pretty easily if you accidentally nick it. Other than that one issue, the instructions were very easy to follow, and the finished product is very stable. Lay out your parts first as the instructions show, it makes it easier to build. Just a tip, the drawers are not created equal. If the drawers won’t close completely and you’re sure your sliders are installed properly, just switch them around to see which drawer fits the corresponding slider. Also I HIGHLY recommend using a drill and/or an electric screwdriver. Your hands will thank you. You will have A LOT of screws. All in all, it took me around 3-4 hours total to put together by myself, 2 of those hours were spent redrill the screw holes and trying to remove crooked screws.

This was easy to put together and very sturdy. I’m using it to store materials for my crafts and it’s holding up great. Tons of storage at a great price. The drawers slide perfectly even though I’ve put quite a bit in it. It works perfectly in my craft room and goes well with my other furniture.

The product scores a five, based on the overall value to price. Expect the cabinet to be heavy, due to it being made of laminated pressed particle boards. I completed the final chassis assembly in the room where it was to be used in, especially after having to drag it into the house. There is an Amazon video on assembling. It would be helpful to watch, before starting. (Duh!) The one thing the video did not show was the use of a small hammer to tap in the wooden dowels. A larger handled screwdriver made the job easier, although a small one was included. Two of the four wheels have locks on them, and should be mounted on the front. There are close to 300 parts, when all the small screws and other fasteners are added. The number of parts seemed daunting at first, but most of the assembling is repetitious with the seven drawers. The only Con would be the wheels provided. They were flimsy and made of hard plastic, which risk scuffing wooden floors, if you foresee having to move it around. Overall, I would buy it again.
