I purchased the pet house for kittens and the stray mama cat to put inside a kitty condo that has a roof. It has kept them comfortable and dry even during storms with the wind blowing sideways. The manufacturer could have given a little more material for the bottom where it is velcroed. It comes loose occasionally but only leaves a small Gap, so it isn't a real issue. UPDATE: changed from 1 star to 4 due to great customer service. I was contacted by customer service and they stated they are working to find better material and offered me a refund or replacement. I opted for the replacement. I would recommend this seller, they truly care about customer satisfaction and are working to improve the product. Bought this for our small lab and within 2 weeks the bottom is completely ripped! It's completely useless now! Biggest waste of money!!! I tried to do a return and it says it has to be in original packaging, which I don't have anymore... who keeps the box??? Now I'm out $90! ... show more

The instructions specify the direction of the base to make sure the Velcro meets. Still don’t meet For me. It’s not really water resistant if it doesn’t seal. It is super easy to put together and is the perfect size. We just can’t use it outside which is what we bought it for

I looked everywhere for a doghouse at this price point that's big enough for my Australian cattle dog, and this is pretty much the only one I could find. Every other one was too small or too expensive. Setup took about 15 min. The instruction manual was hidden in the folds of the canvas. There were lettered stickers on all the parts, so a child could set this up--it did take some strength to fit the pipes together with the canvas on, but easier than putting together your typical camp cot. The canvas seems pretty sturdy, similar to trampoline fabric, but it's still fabric. No fabric will hold up to a dog's claws indefinitely. It's just common sense to put a dog bed or blanket in there. ... show more

I very rarely have to write a negative review or return an item. I had purchased one of these several years ago but a different brand and it was excellent. Mistakenly assumed this would be the same so really didn't read the reviews carefully. BIG MISTAKE. As many others noted, the cover does not fit the frame. I didn't really want to send it back so I rigged it with safety pins and elastic to make it work. The material seems great but if it doesn't hold up and tears like others have mentioned, I will return it. I have put a mat down on the floor of the house so hopefully that will prevent tears. Very disappointed that the manufacturer does not check the fact that the cover is too small for the frame. ... show more
