I like this product because you can see out and get light in with some modesty. Especially important in a shared kids bathroom. I will be purchasing for the second time but want to note that the first curtain lasted 3 years before it needed to be replaced and only because the bathroom stays somewhat damp and eventually the film on the curtain was an eye sore. It probably could've lasted another few years since it's high quality construction. It's also extra long which is helpful since our rod is a few inches higher than a standard rod. The extra length also helps keep the curtain in one place and not billowing during your shower. It does have metal magnets but if you have a new plastic or composite type shower/tub insert that doesn't help except for some extra weight. It's a good buy, durable and high quality. ... show more

Really like how the top is clear and let's lots of light in the shower to see but the bottom still gives you privacy. Think they should add magnet weights to the bottom to make it stay in place.

    • A nice touch in the bath...

I bought the white one (72" x 72") to be the external curtain to a larger, but heavier clear one I bought for the inside of the shower. And, because my shower is odd shaped by being taller, the 72" is about 3" from the pan, which makes the barrier portion rather nice. I'm saying this because I am NOT using it to stop the water, but rather to be decorative. As for the specifics of the curtain itself: The curtain is not heavy and the entire thing is thin vinyl, with the best comparison I can give being it is about the same thickness as a heavy-duty freezer baggie. (Yes, it's kinda thin.) The seam that joins the white to the clear looks like a standard heat compression method where the two pieces are melted together. Not as sturdy as a sewn seam, but it should hold up well barring any irregular abuse. Because my shower bar is higher than normal, the color barrier is about the right level to hide a person's chest and below; but I mention this because I suspect that a normal shower bar would place the barrier about mid-chest on an average 5' tall person. To put it plainly, I would expect that a woman of average height in a normal setting should expect her chest to show to the rest of the room when behind this curtain. While it is not sturdy enough to be a slip&slide, it should serve any bathroom well so long as the kids or the dog don't get a hold of it. ... show more

It did have a plastic chemical smell as others have mentioned but it seems to dissipate pretty quick like in 2 or 3 days. The color I got was the beige looking color and it matches well to our bathroom and was true to the online color. I like the clear section on top so I can see if any rapist or the boogy man Is coming! The shower curtain seems well made with fairly thick material that appears like it will hold up for a good while. I have not had it long enough to see if the mold resistance chemical works but we will see. Even is it does not I will still be happy with it. I like having a shower curtain that does not need an extra cover for color. I would not hesitate to recommend it! ... show more
