I just received my beige kimono today and was pleasantly surprised. It seems of good quality and is as expected. What's shown in the pictures for the beige is accurate. I usually wear size L/14 in most clothes, so I purchased a large in this kimono and it's actually a bit big. I haven't washed it yet, so time will tell if it shrinks (it's rayon) and lasts. I bought it mostly to use as a cover-up at the beach and pool, but may also use it as a cardigan. I have bought clothing from Amazon before that was made in China (didn't realize this when I ordered this kimono) that have not been good (very cheap, low quality, and sizing totally off/small), but this one was a nice surprise. ... show more

This kimono cover up was advertised as being made of rayon with a lace inset at the shoulders and pretty trim around the sleeves and the hem. What I received was a cheap looking garment made of thin shiny polyester with no lace inset and no trim at the hem. It looked like a $1.98 nightie from 1965.

This is lovely. It has a pretty lace around the shoulder area and cute little tassels along the hem. I like the look of a kimono top over a tank. It’s perfect in the summer when I want an extra layer bc of air conditioning or sun protection. It looks great and it’s cool and pretty. The length is perfect and not too long. I’m 5 foot 3 and many kimonos I’ve ordered are way too long on me but this one is just right. Ofc it can also be used as a beach cover up too. I saw some reviews that mentioned how wrinkled it was when it arrived, and how wrinkled it can get. First I’d like to say that it’s 100% rayon, and rayon is like that. I found that a quick steam gets it wrinkle- free in no time. That said, I find that it doesn’t look “messy” if I throw I on without steaming it. After reading reviews that this runs big I ordered a size smaller than my normal size which I am happy I did. I normally wear a medium top. I ordered a small and it fit perfectly. I wore it over a tank top. It is flowy, quarter sleeve and covers your butt. I don’t have a picture in it but I highly recommend. Exactly like the picture, comes down long enough to cover my butt in the back. I'm a 40DD and I can still pull it across my chest if need be. I'm short waisted though, with most of my height coming from long legs. If you are long waisted, it wouldn't be quite as long on you, but it would still be longer than waist length. ... show more
