  • Seems like it should cost more.
This TV mount is a nice, sturdy unit that is easy to install. It functions as advertised, except the vertical adjustment range isn’t 13.5 inches. It’s just under 12 inches. Not a big issue. It works very well with the shiplap “fireplace” I just built in my bedroom. There are a few things to note: You have to choose how you want your TV to tilt when it is parked. Mine is plumb throughout the vertical range, but it tilts slightly forward in its highest position and pushed back (parked) in the fireplace (see pics). The pivots points were initially very stiff laterally. I sprayed teflon grease in them, and that made them way better. The instructions also advise that the vertical pivot makes a popping sound if the set screw needs to tightened. That is true. You’ll need a wide, flat head screw driver to tighten it. The set screw basically functions as a sleeve for the hex bolt that adjusts the shock. It will make sense when you see it. My 50 inch TV weighs about 20 pounds, with 200mm by 200mm VESA. This mount easily supports it. I noticed pivot point closest to the base was loose after I moved the arm up and down many, many times while I was building everything. I think it was slightly loose when it arrived, and I didn’t notice when I installed it. Then the repeated movement made it worse. Since I tightened the bolt, though, there haven’t been any issues. I recommend this mount and I may get more for other TVs. The aforementioned minor issues aren’t cause for concern for me. It works well, it looks modern, and the mechanisms are nicely hidden under a grey plastic body. So far, so good. ... show more

  • Nice mount with great range of motion
This articulating wall mount is awesome. Mounts easily and securely. Great range of motion horizontally left to right and has the most vertical range (up or down) of most other articulating mounts.

  • Great, depending upon your VESA size and hole locations.
Bottom Line: - works great, but not ideal with some TVs’ VESA mount locations Pros: - SOLID! Built very sturdy. - various adjustable options makes it work great overall! The pivot tension can be adjusted. The spring tension for up and down motion can be adjusted as well, depending upon the weight of the TV. - looks good; i like the silver (light-grey?) much better than the black of other TV mounts we have in the house. I think i would have preferred white actually, as it might have blended into the wall/background better? - easy to attach to TV and install overall. - easy to follow instructions, not that they were needed honestly. Cons: - the ‘X’ pattern of the VESA mounting bracket is a flawed design. It assumes that the VESA mounting holes on the TV are centered on the TV. If the mounting holes are shifted up or down on the TV, the ‘X’ mounting bracket can potentially stick out from the bottom or top of the TV. It looks horrible when this happens. I removed one star for this reason. See comments below for more info. Other Comments: - so the ‘X’ mounting bracket sticks out from the bottom of our TV about 2 or 3 inches. Definitely doesn’t look good. I thought about cutting the metal brackets (and still might one day if it bothers me enough) but i decided to just leave it for now. It is currently holding up a 43” Fire TV from Amazon; the VESA mounting holes are NOT in the center, but shifted down; the two bottom VESA holes are only about 2 or 3 inches from the bottom of the TV. The TV has 300x300 VESA mounting holes, so i was forced to use the ‘X’ pattern of the mounting bracket. If the mounting holes were 400x200, the mounting bracket would have been attached differently and could have avoided sticking out; but i obviously didn’t have this option, since i can’t control where the VESA mounting holes are located, etc. - Recommendation to the engineers/designers: instead of having an ‘X’ pattern mounting bracket, make it a square or an ‘H’. If an ‘H’, with proper mounting hole options, it could then be slid up or down, to avoid sticking out from the back of the TV. We have 4 TVs in our house; 3 with wall mounts; this is the only one that sticks out from the bottom of the TV. The other 2 mounts have more of an ‘H’ formed mounting bracket. ... show more

  • Easy to fit and adjust, handles large TV's well
Ordered to allow for 40" LG TV to be wall mounted between my desk and my couch in my home office. The gas powered swivel is effective (with easy adjustment) to balance the TV weight and it allows be to pivot the TV for use on either side of the room, but even better I can have it 'flat' against the wall when not needed minimizing space used. Excellent product would recommend. ... show more

  • Nice not having to extend from the wall to a great degree.
Able to move up and down without permanently extending from the wall. Best priced mount for this purpose.

  • Not as advertised, buyer beware
Beware of false advertising. It says this can support up to 44lbs but can't even hold my monitor weighing 33lbs. It can support it but won't hold the monitor in place. Keeps falling forward. So, I tried to tighten up the wing bolt behind it until it grabbed, and it stripped. Now I have 100-dollar piece of junk on my wall to deal with. I was considering getting several more of these if they worked. Glad I didn't. ... show more

  • Holds up well!
I’m using this on a Covered Patio to make the tv easy to “pull and push up and down” to make it easier to put the tv cover on and off. Works well! Installed one before on stucco/brick with no issues and on this home it’s wood/vinyl siding with no issues

  • Good but not actually centered
The arm is stable and moves smoothly. I asked the question about of the monitor is centered when pushed back flat. Despite answers that it was, it's is not. I have pushed the monitor flat against the wall and the center of the monitor is definitely 2 inches offset from the mounts base. The stud in my wall is centered with my desk, so unfortunately with this mount, I cannot get my monitor centered unless I pull it almost to the front edge of my desk. ... show more
